This is a terrific after-school snack that many children will be able to make on their own, and healthy as well.

This recipe is a fast, fun twist on pizza. These taste great reheated, so make as many as you can fit on a cookie sheet and refrigerate the leftovers.

From Mission Foods. This is a great way to have a tasty low-carb lunch or snack.

    Recipe #163309

I am a true foodie!. And now that I have made the commitment to losing some excess baggage, I look for good tasting dishes. This is one I use as breakfast, but it is good for any time. I prefer Pepperidge Farms Light Style Wheat. I also use locally grown medium sized tomatoes from the farmers’ market whenever I can.

This is a wonderful sandwich!! I was making myself a grilled cheese sandwich about a week ago, and decided to get a little creative with it. It came out spectacular. This is a nice change from your average grilled cheese :-) AND DONT BE AFRAID TO TRY IT! Even if you dont like spinach, try the sandwich.. its great!!!

These make a delicious, healthy breakfast, snack, or even dessert! Recipe Source: Sun-Maid Raisins

Easy sweet instead of the fat full desserts we all enjoy and pay extra for. Your child will like it!

    Recipe #57097

Great for kids. Soothing and low fat!

    Recipe #144022

An excellent quick breakfast sandwich I created. The blend of gooey peanut butter and sweet apple is irrestistible with the satisfying crunch of toast.

    Recipe #126230

The mixture of melted cottage cheese, cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese is irresistible paired in crisp toasted bread. Delicious. From Better Homes and Gardens New Dieter's cookbook

    Recipe #123408

A weird mixture I decided to try last night fully expecting it would taste horrible. My reaction was 'wow!'. It's really good! It's also seriously low-calorie, low fat, low sugar etc. It's kind of like rhubarb, strawberry and ginger pie or flan with cream topping, but so very much healthier and an awful lot quicker! Do give it a go - maybe it'll wow you too! (I've had it four times today already!)

These tasty morsels make a great side dish and a great breakfast too! Adapted from Cook Now Serve Later cookbook. African, Scandinavian, New England, Southern, Mid Atlantic, Mid West

Here's an easy-going baked veggie burger that doesn't require a whole lot of ingredients.

    Recipe #110359

From the Food Network. Time does not include 1 hour chilling time. I am going to try substituting cooked wild rice for the breadcrumbs.

    Recipe #141415

I just LOVE trying different vegetable burger recipes. They are all just slightly different. This is one I've adapted from a recent edition of the Australian magazine 'Women's Day'. This is a recipe which offers the scope for varying the ingredients to suit individual tastes.

A homemade substitute for hamburgers, if you ever have a veggie at a party or barbeque. Good, even without bun!

I ate this sandwhich everyday when I worked (And I ate it just now for old time's sake. MMMMM). It's nummy. The microwave version makes the apples soft and reminds me of a PBJ Apple Pie Sandwhich. The skillet version keeps the apples crispier. I highly recommend Granny Smiths (I'm biased) and feel free to adjust ingredients to your taste. I use Smuckers sugar free jam. I've tried blackberry, apricot, and strawberry. As for the PB, you can buy it at Trader Joe's or at www.peanutwonder.com. Each 2 tbsp. serving is 100 cals and 2.5g fat! :)
