You gotta try this! I threw this together out of things in the fridge and it is just fantastic! (Well, the bread wasn't in the fridge!) Try to use crusty bread, it is really good that way.

This delicious sandwich was originally on Homebasics, adjusted to our taste. A nice crisp type of apple is best.

    Recipe #135590

A delicious sandwich made by a local deli.

This is from 30 Minute Meals on Food Network. A simple, quick snack for the Sunday football game or movie night.

    Recipe #182040

I've always made this with sweet Italian sausage, but have recently started doing it with Polish kielbasa as well. The directions are for Italian sausage and works just fine for either hot or sweet sausage; the Polish sausage doesn't require parboiling unless you just want to do so to reduce fat.

Also known as Tuscan Portobello Melt. This winning recipe (combined with Recipe #193721) was Betty Fraser's entry for the Top Chef episode where the competitors had to present a "comfort food". The soup and sandwich combo will become a featured item on TGI Friday's menu. The judges raved about then and I know why. Delicious!

    Recipe #193692

This is how I used to eat my sandwiches when I was young. It is a perfect combinations of sweet, creamy, salty and crunchy!! I made my husband one more recently, and at first he was apalled by the idea. Then he tried it and loved it!! He askes for it for lunch all the time now.

    Recipe #191388

This is my own recipe. It is, as the name states, especially tasty,if I do say so myself!! The secret ingredient is Sriracha chili sauce. The chili sauce doesn't make the sandwich spicy at all, just adds flavor! When I make it for people, they say, "MMMMM!! What did you put in here!!??"

If you are going to make a white bean & tuna salad (which, if you've never had it, might not sound good, but is) with canned goods, this is a good recipe. This is from a book called _Culinary Journey to the Mediterranean. You can serve this with pita bread or pita chips, and/or on a bed of arugula or watercress.

The perfect, quick, bachelor-y lunch for when you're hard pressed for time! This healthy recipe includes the 4 main food groups, so tuck in, and double the recipe if you're really hungry! :-)

    Recipe #23836

I can't keep chicken salad in this house....the family loves it so much!! This is a real treat when I make them.

    Recipe #176098

This is a very delicious salad. I make it quite often. It's one of our favorites! Prep time is the time it takes to roast the chicken breasts. Time does not reflect chill time.

We will whip these up sometimes just for a bit of a change in the traditional. Sometimes I will make the BLT mix up before leaving for the ballpark so that when we get home all we have to do is throw them together and EAT!! Prep time includes frying bacon.

A great brunch item! One of my husbands favorite filling, baked, french toast style, sandwiches filled with cheese, ham, turkey & mustard. Raspberry preserves is a must for him. Could be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a LESSER FAT Monte Cristo recipe being baked and not fried full of flavor! I also like to buy the low salt cold cuts or use fresh baked turkey leftovers sliced thin.

This sandwich is a popular Panera Bread sandwich. It has a great spicy dressing and is served on their fabulous tomato basil bread, but it's also delicious on any hearty bread. My son works for Panera Bread and this is his favorite menu item. This recipe is typical of a California style gourmet sandwich, and represents the Western U.S. region.

A delicious twist on french toast that can be made-ahead and chilled for up to 24 hours. Great for brunch, holidays, and special occasions.
