Delicious! Bread, dipped in egg, with slices of avocado, made like a grilled cheese sandwich. I got this recipe somewhere on the internet.

    Recipe #57971

This is a great sandwich-it feels like you're eating in a deli!

    Recipe #239702

Nice appetizer, love the smoked salmon, be sure it is thinly sliced.

    Recipe #84274

Fiddling around in the kitchen, I was looking for a protein rich snack prior to working out. This sandwich was the result and seemed worth posting. If you think it sounds strange consider the delicious and popular appetizer of baked brie in puff pastry and dried fruit. This is a deconstructed and reconstructed version for one. My version used reduced fat ingredients, but you can use the full fat versions if you like.

Some recipes make you go HHMMM!?? Luckily I tried this and it made us go YUM! This isn't the normal combo you'd see on a sandwich, but very tasty! They are quick, easy, and lo cal. Another delight from Cooking Light.

From R. Reisman. Can't wait to try it!

    Recipe #219563

Nice flavors. I normally do not have to use an egg and breadcrumbs for these burgers. If your ground chicken is very dry or crumbly add an egg and a 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs. Nice served on a bun with lettuce, stir-fried beansprouts, teaspoon of soy sauce and sesame seeds. As a topping we use sour cream.

Thalhimers was a department store in downtown Richmond that no longer exists. We do there for lunch, get the chicken salad plate, which had cold asparagus spears and cantaloupe. Wonderful!!

    Recipe #89944

I love falafel and it's so easy to make. We used to have a falafel hut in our town but it went to be replaced with all you can eat curry! Since then, I have been trying to recreate many of their imaginative falafel dishes. These are quick and easy to make you can count this as one of your five a day and they can be frozen as well.

    Recipe #189615

I got this easy read in 15 minutes recipe from the show Everyday Italian, which has been promoting me to buy a panini press!

    Recipe #215072

Creamy avocado, nutty crunchy peanut butter & crispy salty bacon all on bakery fresh bread. A dream sandwich! Originally posted on the BBC food board.

    Recipe #213854

I can never get enough! Maxine and Linda inspired me to write this recipe. Although it is not exactly how they make it, it is close. They prefer Miracle Whip, and don't add the onions. I used this to stuff the small puff pastries (Recipe #186307) to make hors d'oeuvres. I dice and chop finely for the hors d'oeuvres, and coarsely for sandwiches or salad.

    Recipe #217926

Grilled cheese that will melt in your mouth! For a delicious appetizer, quarter the sandwiches and serve on a platter with sliced, tart green apples! Adapted from Delicious Living magazine and changed. Feel free to try fig, peach, or pineapple preserves instead of the apricot! Yum!
