Who can resist those pleading eyes, that heart-wrenching cry, that drooling mouth? (Well, two out of three is pretty motivational to me.) Return the love to that dog who loves you unconditionally and tell him/her BONE APPETITE from me! Preparation time is approximate. Makes roughly 1-1/4 pound dry dog biscuits.
I made these for my little poodle who turns his nose up to just about everything but not these, he just loved them! just make certain that the containers are labeled doggie treats, these smell so good that someone might be tempted to eat one lol! It is also a great way to use up any leftover ripe bananas --- the brown sugar is only optional I like to add it in! :)
I made these for my friends Dog (Daxx)which was recovering from surgery! His doing fine! Use fresh juiced vegies if using them. It's funny because when I first made them My dog she just dropped it from her mouth! Then picked it up and now loves them. She follows me around till she can have more. One is NOT enough! Store in ziplock storage bags or airtight container.
What a great way to use up some of that extra sourdough starter and that little dab of canned pumpkin that's always left when your recipe calls for 1 cup. I created this recipe and I think it turned out really good. My dog, Clyde, thinks so too!
This is actually for my dogs. Cookie is so picky and after being boarded she would refuse to eat for several days. After talking with the kennel, I found that this is what they did when feeding her. She loves it and meal time is so much more pleasant!
Sasha LOVES her special cookies! I can't get out the bread machine anymore without her getting excited! This recipe is based on one I got here, but have played with it a little to make it my own. Cheese can also be added if you (and your puppy) like.
