This is a simple recipe but big on flavor and it even tastes better if left in the fridge a few hours to blend the flavors so I suggest to do that --- it's wonderful with a slice of tomato on top of the tuna and served between two thick slices of toasted whole grain bread or in a pita bread or served on a plate on top of a bed of lettuce --- I sometimes add in some chopped small sweet gherkin pickles or yum yum pickles also --- feel free to add in some cooked macaroni pasta and serve on a plate --- please only fresh lemon juice for this bottled is just not the same, I have left the mustard powder and Tabasco as optional I most always add it in it takes this salad to another level :)

    Recipe #116814

A salad recipe from an old cookbook.

    Recipe #284075

If you like simple pasta salads you should try this. I love this in the summer but you could have this any time. I didn't see any other recipes like this that used both dressings so I thought I'd share mine. They really do go well together. This is pretty versatile and you can add any veggies that you'd like.

    Recipe #204569

Delightful and yummy potato salad with a different twist of vinegar and sour cream as ingredients.

    Recipe #117656

There was a chain of Italian restaurants in the Columbus, Ohio area that had this awesome salad as their house salad. I don't like blue cheese, so asked for it to be omitted, but loved the combination of bacon, lettuce and dressing. When the salad was brought to the table, they then offered fresh ground black pepper. I think this recipe was posted in the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper. NOTE: Due to this being a restaurant recipe, it makes a alot of dressing, about two cups, so you might want to cut the amount of dressing to 1/4 or 1/2 of this recipe.

Chicken Alfredo is one of my favorite meals. What a better way to savor that flavor and enjoy it then mixed in with a salad as well. I found this recipe in the Pillsbury 2008 annual recipes cookbook.

Nice way to serve spinach and so good for you! The secret is not to overcook the spinach. I like to add a few roasted pine nuts or pumkin seeds with a nice jolt of Marsala wine. I love to serve this recipe with recipe#399309. Just spoon the sauce over the spinach when it is on the plate MMMmm

Great for potlucks. My family loves this.

    Recipe #35257

This is a simple pasta salad that is far from the original recipe that my girlfriend and I were given. She has tweaked it one way and I have tweaked it another. The Ro Tel tomatoes make it has a nice spicy kick although not too spicy. This salad is much better the second day so if you can...make it the day before you need it and add a little more mayo if needed before serving.

    Recipe #290062

This is a chilled salad that was served at a brunch. It would be a great side dish with any meal though. The lemonade is so refreshing and cleansing! I loved this!

    Recipe #289661

This is an old standby I've served as a side dish for years at potlucks and gatherings. I have also stuffed the pea mixture into cherry tomato shells (minus the tomato in the ingredient list!) as an appetizer. Enjoy!

    Recipe #226039

This is a recipe that I use when I have fresh tomatoes and basil from our garden. The fresher the tomatoes, the better the salad.

    Recipe #220718

I have had people who swear they hate Miracle Whip eat an ENTIRE PLATE of this potato salad. It's my mom's recipe, and you can try it with regular Mayo, but I won't stand by the results because it's so good with the Whip that I've never tried it any other way!

Turn a classic sandwich into a delicious salad.

    Recipe #157457

I love Club Sandwiches. This is all the flavors of the classic club in this ready in a flash salad.

    Recipe #218766

This recipe came from one of my church's cookbooks. It's always requested and always a hit at family functions. This really has the flavor of a BLT sandwich.

    Recipe #213731

When I arrived in Iceland, this was my DH’s 1st food request & I went thru a lot of RZ cucumber salad recipes to be sure it wasn’t a duplicate. Siggi & my sister named this because it was original w/me & because of my twissis internet identity. For best results, don’t make this a dy ahead, but do allow at least 2 hrs for the flavors to blend & the “cream” to develop from the finished ingredient mix. I promise you’ll like this. (Stated time does not include refrigeration time)

I like to serve this with Chimichangas or enchiladas.

    Recipe #73438

This has been in my recipe box forever so I'm not sure where it came from. This is light so a good pick for those hot days when you just don't feel like eating much.

    Recipe #27195

There are about as many coleslaw recipes as there are people. I myself like a variety coleslaws. I especially like the sweetness of this recipe from Paula Deen of the Food Network. The texture is also interesting as most of the ingredients are chopped in the food processor and half the cabbage is shredded. I think you can use a little more cabbage than the recipe calls for. I also like to mix in red cabbage for lots of color. (Cooking time listed is time standing in refrigerator).
