You can use cooked diced ham in place of the chicken, please don't omit the grapes, they really make this salad, but add them in just before serving so they will retain their crunch. Plan ahead this salad needs to chill for a minimum of 8 hours or 24 hours. Please adjust all amounts to suit taste, if you are a dill-lover then increase the amount, this can easily be doubled, I sometimes add in 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese into the dressing but that is optional ;-)

This is the potato salad recipe that I am famous for. I named this recipe after a potato salad that I was trying to duplicate from Gandolfos Sandwich Shop where I live. However, as I was trying to duplicate the recipe, I came across a recipe from Southern Living that had similar ingredients and decided that the S.L. recipe was excellent if not better than Gandolfos-so I stuck with that. Everyone goes nuts over this and I give this recipe out all the time.

Warning WARNING !! This Tex Mex salad is Very SPICY !!! Use your best judgment in how much Chipotle peppers you use. Taste as you add just don't dump them all in. Each pepper has it's own heat level. Yes us Girls love it too! ;)

    Recipe #60560

    Great summer salad for picnics.

    Recipe #170435

This stunning and delicious salad was a staple at the Wheat's household. I must give the credit for that. Man, one plate of this stuff is NEVER enough! Form a serving line and let everyone build their own; chatting in "line" is half the fun of this meal.

    Recipe #224143

A delightful pasta salad with the great taste of bacon, cheddar cheese and a creamy sauce made from a packet of ranch dressing. My coworkers ask me to bring this to covered luncheons often. Time does not include chill time.

    Recipe #255591

This is a coleslaw to die for. It is both sweet and tangy. The best part is that you can keep it in the refrigerator for 14 days! I'm posting here for safe-keeping...too good to get lost!!!

    Recipe #254702

I'm not sure why this is called twig salad, but it is so delicious that you won't care what it is called. It is a great crunchy combination with a sweet dressing that is perfect for any meal. I give credit to my friend, Mona who provided this recipe in our church cookbook.

    Recipe #198821

Comes from July 2007 Cooking Light. Very light and refreshing; especially nice for those who love cilantro! Use packaged coleslaw and it's ready in minutes!

Quick salad with a mexican flavor.

    Recipe #234943

I watched Ina make this on TV today and it looked so colorful I just have to try it. You may want to adjust the jalapeños to taste, add some mango, and if you are watching your calories- eliminate or reduce the olive oil.

This is from Razzle Dazzle Recipes. Cook time is refrigeration time.

    Recipe #246286

I received this recipe almost 20 years ago from a co-worker. It may not look good but sure surprises you when you taste it, yummy. I find it to be more a dessert than a salad.

    Recipe #222432

Add this creamy dressing to your favorite salad ingredients. If you love a pepper dressing that is bold but not too sharp, try this one.

Make sure that the tomatoes are fresh vine-ripened tomatoes--they make all the difference in the world. A delicious and quick summer salad using fresh ingredients. For the garlic infused olive oil, I used the olive oil from Juenessa's Recipe #221637.

In Greece there are many recipes for this salad, if you love Mediterranean-style full-flavored salads then this is one I think you will really enjoy! You can omit the oil and red wine vinegar and just use the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes, but I like to add it in for extra flavor, use as much artichokes as you like, adjust all ingredients to taste, the oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes are what *makes* this salad so do not omit, also see my recipe#66596

    Recipe #238190

Wonderful with a summertime BBQ! This needs to chill for 2 hours before serving. I have even added in 2 firm chopped tomatoes JUST before serving. Double up on the ingredients to feed a crowd!

    Recipe #131380

This it so simple, delish, and the kids can help too.

    Recipe #210359

This is from epicurious and it's simply fabulous! Super easy as it starts with a store bought cooked chicken.
