If you like a ploughman's lunch, you might like these. Russ made them for our lunch today and I want to make them again! My Jaffle maker is electric and toasts two sandwiches at once. In Aus, we can also get long handled jaffle makers use over a camp fire. You could also make this in a panini press. ..

    Recipe #415976

My husband Russ has been making this lately when we have odd veg in the fridge. I think he's almost got it right as his one was great. We actually planned to make coleslaw, but the weather turned cold and we had to re-think dinner. This was great with roast chicken. The last time he made this, he used leek instead of onion. Feel free to vary the veg.

    Recipe #320378

I had never eaten leeks until I met my husband, so this is his recipe. It's nice and quick and easy.

    Recipe #23959

This is one of Russell's favourite dips he makes when we are having a get together with friends. It's really simple to make.

    Recipe #31883

I think this is a Russell original! He made this for dinner last night, and I wanted to write it down as it was very good. Leftovers cut really well for sandwiches this morning too.

    Recipe #71521

This is Russell's version of a similar dish we had at a local restaurant. You could eat this as a lunch dish with a salad, but we ate it as a (hearty) appetiser.

    Recipe #91037

Russell makes great mashed potatoes-here's one of his variations!

    Recipe #103390

One Russell came up with tonight using ingredients on hand. it's based on a dish by Evelyn/Athens that we couldn't make when we realised we had no capers. Very lemony, and we thought, very nice.

    Recipe #103768

I'm married to a wonderful cook. Here's a salad he came up with tonight.

    Recipe #107462

We are currently travelling around Australia, following the crab season it seems. One of our favourite ways to eat all these crabs we catch is in crab cakes. Russell has almost perfected them for our tastes-but I tell him he'll just need to practice a bit more ;-)

    Recipe #173809

Russ and I came up with this last night. It was excellent and enjoyed by all of us. I think you could use tinned crab-we used fresh crab we caught ourselves.
