My husband was very pleased when I presented him with this soup! He found it full of flavor & just the right consistency. He’s a soup man from way back – his favorite food so obviously he was my taste tester! Lunch time went over with a bang!

    Recipe #282979

I hope you enjoy this treat, made for RSC #11, its easy, very tasty and looks pretty. It's a little time consuming but well worth the effort.

    Recipe #282986

Blonde pizza is made without tomato sauce. This makes two large (10 x 15 inch rectangular, or 14-inch round) thin and crispy crust pizza. If a thicker crust is desired, use smaller pans and roll dough thicker. Most of the time is spent waiting for the dough to rise. Made for RSC #11.

    Recipe #282949

The black beans in this pie are well hidden! I used light cream cheese and fat fee sour cream. We enjoyed it with some salsa and a dollop of sour cream.

    Recipe #282923

Great accompanied by fresh fruit and mimosas made with prosecco.

    Recipe #283065

A wonderful comfort food with a pleasing blend of flavors. This dish is great for brunch or as a side dish for a cold winter’s dinner or as a main dish for a light dinner (it's a very versatile dish!) The flavors need to meld in a Strata – so make this the night before for a brunch dish or the morning before if you are serving it for dinner (you could even prepare it the night before for the next evening’s dinner). The preparation time does not include the refrigeration time.

    Recipe #283063

Submitted for RSC #11. The myriad of flavors, textures and colors combine for an impressive breakfast or brunch. Serve with toast, biscuit or bagel.

    Recipe #283047

Delicious comfort food. This can be eaten as either as a wonderful dinner side dish or as a tasty dip when served with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

If you wish you may make this a day ahead and let it mellow in the fridge or just make and serve. It may be doubled. Personally I like spicy and would add an additional tsp of Cayenne. This recipe is not very spicy. Use your favorite pasta or if you prefer serve with rice. Tip: To cube the chicken have it half frozen before cutting. You may substitute regular vinegar but balsamic is best.

    Recipe #282935

Ambrosial Beef On Bed Of Mash Potatoes, Spinach And Pancetta, served with a Red Wine Sauce. This is a perfect main meal for every day consumption, special romantic dinner for two or for Valentines Day. Serving Size can change for a larger party. I chose to use filet of beef but you could use any tenderloin section of the beef. It would need a thick cut of about two inches/five cms thick and weights about 8.8 ounce /250 grams each. Made for RSC #11 Contest.

As i love pies i am proud to present you my european holiday pie, a comfort food which will make you feel good, it is easy to make, cheap in your pocket, can be prepared, is a pleaser at potlucks and brings back memories from your last summer. Enjoy!

    Recipe #282946

How do you turn cheap round steak into a Sunday dinner the family will remember for a long time? Pound it tender, add a dollop of richly seasoned sauce bright with artichokes and sundried tomatoes, and melt flavorful cheeses on top of it. Don’t be afraid of the long instructions – its not difficult. The sauce can be made ahead if you reserve the artichokes until just before serving.
