Giada De Laurentiis recently prepared this sweet comfort food on her show, "Everyday Italian." It looked so delicious I had to add it to my collection! This makes two servings, so you can share it with a special friend. ;)

The Herbfarm Restaurant is located in Woodinville, Washington. Each week, the award-winning restaurant chooses the best from farm, forest, and sea to create thematic 9-course dinners showcasing the Pacific Northwest. In October 2001, Gourmet Magazine ranked The Herbfarm among "America's Best 50 Restaurants."

So easy it's almost ridiculous! :) These chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds are a great addition to the holiday season, and the kids will like helping to make them.

Every year I pick a cake to make for Valentine's Day, this one is from Taste Of Home and is beautiful. Cake is baked in two 9 inch heart shaped pans, I found them in regular pans and disposable tin pans. My cake took longer to cook about 30 minutes. Also this is a very sweet cake. I used two cans of cherry pie filling (not all of both) and for the topping on top I tried to just get the cherries with just a little of the juice.

Wrapping the pork in bacon adds a smoky flavor to the pork helps to keep the pork moist while cooking. I am nuts about cinnamon anything and find the flavor goes very well with pork.

This is a very light dish and makes your house smell wonderful. I found this on another site and make it often. I serve this over rice and add asparagus to the meal.

    Recipe #100578

A wonderful chicken dish for the crockpot, and the smell is absolutely heavenly!

Get out the bibs, lobster crackers and picks! If you've never prepared live lobster, this is a straightforward approach to a decadent meal. I make this once a year, on January 1, my wedding anniversary. My husband and I had a very low-key wedding (I was wearing jeans, an old sweater and my house slippers!), at 12:30 AM on January 1, 2001 (01-01-01). To celebrate that humble beginning, I make a totally decadent meal for us every New Year's Day. This one is our favorite and it's fun for us to do together. We halve the recipe and drink the leftover champagne. You'll need a really big pot for this, I use a big stock pot. Make sure plenty of napkins are on hand and that you have lobster shell crackers and picks.

    Recipe #69235

This is a labor-intensive recipe because of the reduction of the sauce. The final product is worth the effort, however. The chicken actually poaches in champagne while cooking then the champagne sauce is served with the chicken.

    Recipe #59708

This is a great vinaigrette. You can add dried herbs if you like. I especially like it with mixed vegetable/fruit salads. If champagne vinegar is not available, it is easily homemade with leftover champagne and a few week's setting time. Instructions are included.

This sauce is so yummy on chicken, pasta, veggies, etc. I also add cooked strawberries or the juice from, to this wonderful sauce for a special touch.

When I saw all the other Tiramisu recipes posted, I was hesitant to add my one. But after looking through them, none were quite like mine. This is the only Tiramisu recipe I have ever made, I found it so good I didn't need to seek out another. It is very simple and can be made in the morning for dinner. It is my most popular dessert and is requested by my friends often. Cook time is minimum refrigeration time. I have no idea which book this came from. Many people have commented that the level of sugar in this recipe is too low. I wonder if they are using caster (superfine) sugar or just regular? Superfine will fill a 1/4 of a cup more than regular would. Of course, it could just be personal taste and that's okay too.

If you like lemon, you're going to love this cake! Saw this recipe being made by the Barefoot Contessa on FoodTV and just had to have it. Not being overly experienced, I was a bit intimidated by the recipe. However, it is not very hard, looks great and the taste is incredible! Cook time does not include time for the cakes to cool.

    Recipe #71344

I was so very lucky in that I was able to go to Italy, and I went to wonderful dinners where various stuffed endives were served. Egg salad was a nice, rich, savory favorite every time. :)

    Recipe #27707

A flavorful treat for both senses of taste and smell!

    Recipe #27791

Wonderfully aromatic, this delicious rice is a wonderful addition to your dinner!
