This is a "Land o'Lakes" recipe. It is a very delicious rice pudding, and would be sublime topped with a strawberry, blueberry or rasberry sauce. It is very simple and very homey, quite the comfort food. I am sure the meringue can be left off quite easily if you are not a meringue lover.
This is an old family favorite. It is perfect when you have leftover rice from a stirfry or another recipe. I have made it often lately for dinner guests with rave reviews. Such a comfort food. Wonderful warm from the oven and delightful cold as well!
This creamy rice pudding is made with cooked brown rice and accented with chocolate and cherry flavors. I like it warm but you can serve it however you prefer. If you do serve it cold you might want to decrease the honey slightly (to taste) or replace some of the honey with sugar, since honey's flavor is much bolder when cool.
