This is a very good and quick supper. Serve with hot bread and go for it. This dish has no meat in it.

    Recipe #109003

Cheddar cheese and rice stuffing make these delicious! No frying involved.

This is my own recipe and pretty good at that! We usually eat it on the side of a mexican dish.

a great side dish for roast chicken or beef, this can also be used as a stuffing. this recipe is from a taste of home

    Recipe #71978

Simple, tasty, and off the beaten track from regular rice bowls. Assembly takes moments and everything can be prepared in advance and frozen. Easily prepped, frozen, and microwaveable with the exception of the bananas and garnish. Also, can be arranged without the chicken for a nice vegetarian meal. Great dish for Chinese takeout leftover rice!

    Recipe #100380

This is a great one dish, pan-asian meal and makes for a healthy, well-balanced lunch or dinner. The combination of the spicy, rich tofu and the fresh cool greens really makes the dish pop. Adapted from Vegetarian Times.

    Recipe #433293

Every year my new years' resolution is to like a new food (my somewhat successful attempt at becoming a less picky eater). This year was winter squash, and let me tell you, this recipe made it super easy! *Make sure you use very flavorful broth, a weak broth will make a weak risotto.

This is a recipe I have made for ages...I got it out of a recipe book from the old Hudsons Department Store Recipe Book called "With Warmest Regards". A wonderful recipe to serve a lot of people for a special occasion.

    Recipe #271003

This is a good way to change up Wild Rice!

    Recipe #380404

A delicious side dish for just about any kind of meat. Originally from a Junior League of El Paso cookbook. I've been making this for over 20 years and everyone has always enjoyed it! It can be assembled earlier in the day and baked later.

    Recipe #53638

As published in Raley's Something Extra magazine, Holiday 2005 edition.

    Recipe #255883

Another recipe from my Land-O-Lake recipe book. This is a slightly sweet, warm bacon dressing tossed with spinach, wild rice and crispy radishes. I made this a few years back at a BBQ event, and it went well.

"Jazz up plain old rice with the flavors of Greece. This main-dish casserole gets powerful antioxidents from the spinach and plenty of fiber from the brown rice." - From the Prevention Magazine book, "Natural Healing Guide 2002"

I like making this as a side dish with cheeseburgers. This would also make a great one dish meal.

    Recipe #423608

I decided to pair not my ordinary pizza toppings for this polenta pizza appetizer, something a bit fancier than your average sausage crumbles. I simply enjoy the saltiness of anchovies and cheese when paired with the complexity of olives and rosemary. I hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #412466

Serve with your favorite taco fillings. Delicious is you use lettuce wraps instead of tortilla wraps.

    Recipe #421793

This is how I love my brown rice. I always use short grain rice, adding about 1/2 cup more water than called for. With a splash of soy sauce, I'm in heaven!

    Recipe #93148

When I was younger, I didn’t like broccoli, but I sure loved this casserole! I requested “green rice” all the time. Maybe it was because of all the cheese :) This is a good way to get veggies, whole grains, and calcium into picky kids’ mouths! Can either be a vegetarian main dish or a side dish.
