Red Meat, In All Its Glory.

Nothing says Earth like Beef. Taurus is an Earth sign which denotes strength, power, and heady hedonistic behaviors. Sometimes, nothing satisfies a man's need for physical energy and sustinence like a good cut of red meat. :D

You can leave out the *starred ingredients for a more kid-friendly chili. Otherwise, this is hot, hot, hot! And good, good, good! This makes a HUGE pot of chili, so you can make ahead and freeze in single or custom portions for use as a side item, or larger portions for the main course.

    Recipe #177524

This recipe adds a litte Southern flair to the standard chili recipe. It's an old standby for us, and depending on how many people you're feeding, this recipe is awesome for bagging several meals' worth and freezing it for later. It's an easy recipe, which turns out fantastic results. NOTE: The masa may be replaced by 1/2 cup yellow corn meal with a tablespoon all purpose flour. And the ground beef may be replaced with 3 pounds of shredded beef roast.

This recipe is for two [2] thin, sweet, tender, 1/2" thick T-Bones; about 8 ounces each, including the bone. "ala Elswet" is for the garlic and pepper lovers in the carnivorous kingdom. This is super-easy and tastes SO GOOD! We love it! We hope you love it, too.

NOTE: This recipe has been updated! This was Elswet's Papaw's "Saturday Afternoon" recipe. He prepared it himself, often. He said it was an old Navy recipe he remembered from WWII, and it was one of his favorite dishes. It has a slight pizza taste, which makes it a favorite among kids, is very easy to assemble, and gives you hands free cooking. NOTE: This recipe has been adjusted, slightly. ;)

    Recipe #105930

For years, everyone around Her has asked for Her (almost famous) pot roast recipe, and for years, She's just smiled and never told. Here it is; the secret recipe --you-- may not want to share! This is excellent when served with Elswet's Jasmine Rice and any brand seasoned Italian bread made in your bread maker.

    Recipe #108686

This recipe [sans the garlic and parsley] is from Elswet's grandmother's recipes and is quite old, as she got it from her grandmother. This is really good most anytime, but it's especially good when it's cold outside. This goes great with a potato/cheddar soup, for lunch, or with a green salad and jello with pear halves for dinner. This type of food is typically a bit bland. So we spice it up the tiniest bit to suit our more eclectic palates.

This recipe says 8-ounces of bacon-wrapped sirloin steaks. It indicates 2 of the 4-ounce steaks. We get these beautiful little 4-ounce bacon-wrapped sirloins with our meat order every month. Neither of us [my Wife and I] had any experience with these little delicacies, but in short time, my sweet Wife had the perfect recipe. At least, WE like it. LOL We hope you do, too.
