    Recipe #11727

This recipe will suite diabetics and anyone needing a sugar free recipe—alternately, regular ingredients can be used.

    Recipe #171512

Use this on whole or cut up pieces of meat. If the chili powder seems to hot for you, leave it out, it will still be a nice spice mix. There is no salt added to the mix. When marinating small pieces of meat I like to add fresh cut up coriander leaves. Marinating time can be 20 minutes and up to a day. Together with the lemon juice you can also use buttermilk or yogurt.

    Recipe #58843

Lemony-herbal chicken that roasts painlessly...oven-roasted garlicky potatoes - crisp on the outside, butter-soft on the inside. This recipe never receives anything but raves!

    Recipe #59469

This is the sauce I've been making for years. It doesn't make a huge quantity, but is easily doubled etc. I think it needs to be simmered for a long time to develop the flavour. I would serve this over any pasta or spaghetti shapes I have on hand and I also use this in my lasagnas. Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms, celery or a little grated carrot if you wish. I do sometimes, but find we like this simple recipe the best.

    Recipe #66861

These are delightful chunky cookies with nuts, raisins and chocolate chips. This chewy, crunchy combo is sure to be a hit the next time you are looking to bake something a little different.

    Recipe #30573

These moist and delicious muffins are sure to be a hit at your next ladies brunch or tea!

    Recipe #100943

This is a deliciously spicy low fat chicken dish. You control the spiciness with strength of the curry powder you add. You can even leave out the chicken to use it as a side dish.

    Recipe #72101

    These are delicious!

    Recipe #113227

These make a terrific light lunch or dinner, or can be served cold for a picnic. They'd also be nice as finger food for a party. So versatile, and you won't believe how easy they are to make! I've adapted this recipe from one by Jamie Oliver. I serve mine drizzled with Ranch Dressing, made using Mirj's Homemade Ranch Dressing Recipe #60078. Jamie serves his with yoghurt and lemon juice. They would also be terrific served with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Use your imagination!

quick easy side dish from gourmet magazine

    Recipe #66566

This recipe is "to die for". Prawns sautéed in fresh garlic and coriander cream sauce. Simple to make. Remember to use lite cream and only half the salt content for a healthier alternative.

    Recipe #166413

Mediterranean-style bbq'd fish. Simple, easy and very tasty! Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fish steaks.

    Recipe #142108

Another one of our favorites. It takes a little time but well worth it.

    Recipe #140142

This is my personal rendition on a favorite from Quebec. The addition of pumpkin to ordinary mashed potatoes gives them an nice earthiness that goes well with roasted poultry or other autumnal fare. I have not tried it with canned pumpkin but will experiment eventually. Though I don't cook much with butter, you should feel free to add some more to suit your taste.

    Recipe #139807

Very popular finger food in Australia, expensive to buy, but so simple to make!
