This is very quick, easy and inexpensive to make. It's one of my DH's favorites more so than mine.

    Recipe #242871

Amanda loves salmon and I wanted to do something special for her birthday, so I made up this recipe. Luckily, she loved it and asked that I be sure to write this one down on Zaar so as to not lose it. So, Amanda, here is your birthday salmon.

Tom loves chicken tortilla soup. It's a soup that is served over tortilla chips. Pretty good! This is the easiest one I've found and no one has ever noticed the differece... just open six cans, dump it in a pot, heat it up and voila. Dinner!

    Recipe #172364

Quick, easy and very tasty. A chicken and noodle dish, for all peanut butter lovers. Child friendly as well. Adapted from a Family Circle recipe.

    Recipe #126996

    A simple/easy, quick, and kid-friendly week-night meal.

    Recipe #203089

Simple and Easy. Different recipe from the average "broccoli-rice" casserole.

One of my favorite dinners to throw together after a busy day at work. Very easy. I think I got this from Good Housekeeping. Prep/cook time is approximate.

I came across this recipe and thought it looked great for a harried week night supper. I also think this is very adaptable to what is on hand in the frige. Recipe source: Redbook (July 2005)

    Recipe #130527

Have a hearty soup on the table in under 20 minutes. Delicious and very easy to prepare...even easier if using pre-cooked shrimp. For variety, add one can crabmeat when you add the shrimp. Optional asparagus adds a little color and great taste!

    Recipe #57818

Quick and easy. Makes a great lunch.

This is a very simple recipe that produces stunning results. Szechuan cooking is usually pretty spicy, but this recipe is surprisingly mild. I like to jack it up a bit with some hot sauce, but my family doesn't like spicy food, so I do my own at the table.

    Recipe #57203

Yummy, filling and EASY chicken chili from The Canadian Living Test Kitchen.

    Recipe #102154

When I'm in a hurry and want something good, this sandwich fills the bill.

    Recipe #162610

This is a take on an original Joe's Special from San Francisco. A Joe's is one of the true San Francisco treats, like Hangtown Fry, Cioppino and sourdough french bread (try and find Rice-A-Roni in ANY San Francisco restaurant; GOOD LUCK!). Swiss Chard is the "extra" and a hearty change-up from spinach in this version. This makes a good low-carb meal choice.

    Recipe #163646

Adapted from a recipe at the Newman's Own site. This one's a quickie but goodie, handy when you have to eat in a rush! Instead of grilling, you can broil the chicken; as an alternative, you can also cut it into strips BEFORE cooking and dry-sauté the strips in a nonstick spray-coated pan.

    Recipe #163395

The quickest and easiest pizza to make. Even the kids can do it. Even make funny faces for kids parties. Clowns, pirates,monsters.....etc i put it in vegetarian because you can omit the ham

    Recipe #45317

This is a delightful last minute beginning to almost any meal. Yes, I DO resort to those "cream of****" soups when needed!

Another main dish salad that may remind you of a taco salad but its not!

    Recipe #54178

This light and refreshing Vietnamese Chicken Salad is really quick to make. It can be eaten alone as a light meal or served as a main meal, over steamed rice. Because I don't like my food too spicy, I omit the chilli, but I've left it in the ingredients listed. Some will no doubt want to increase the spiciness. When serving it to others, I've doubled the recipe and made two versions: one spicy, one not. And been very careful not to mix them up, by putting them in colour-coded serving bowls! Both versions have been eaten with enthusiasm, both by those who are familiar with Vietnamese cuisine and those who are not. Adapted from Lulu Grimes' book "Food: buy it fresh: Cook: cook it simply; Eat: eat it now". If you are serving this salad to guests, and planning ahead, it's worth going to an Asian greengrocer's and buying the authentic ingredients.

    Recipe #121519

Just like eating a slice of pizza. 3 Weight Watchers points per serving. Sorry, this recipe isn't core.
