This yummy stew is low in fat and calories and has tons of flavor...and fiber! There are 20g of fiber per serving, so that makes it very heart healthy! Besides being a super meal, it's delicious! Enjoy!
I just love eggs and often eat breakfast for dinner. Came across this recipe on the Internet and decided to post it for the Zaar World Tour. This particular one is so loaded with good things, it's a one dish meal. Or you can serve it with a simple salad and a little garlic or peasant bread. The original recipe calls for 4 tablespoons of oil, but I'm planning to cut that in half.
If you want a really special way to use a fairly small amt of leftover spaghetti sauce, make another meal of it & combine it w/some veggies too ... then this adult & kid pleaser dish is a standout choice & is sure to convince everyone you're a genius! Recipe Source: Nat'l Pasta Assn, altho I've amended it slightly.
I found this recipe when trying to decide what I could do with what I had in my fridge while making something tasty. This fit the need and it's also pocketbook friendly as well as family friendly. Serve with rolls and a nice tomato or cucumber salad, a complete meal in short order. Feel free to add any veggies you have on hand.
This is the meal we have when I'm feeling completely lazy. It's so easy, I'm almost ashamed to post! The pork turns out so juicy and flavorful. We've added a small amount of grated ginger to the sauce, but really prefer it "plain."
I'm not sure if the name is spelled correctly but this is the first dish I tried to (trick) impress my husband with. He thought I could cook...ha...I didn't learn to cook until 7 years later when I found Zaar! But this was very good and he stills remembers it.
Savory with just a hint of sweetness, this pork chop is one of my husband's favorites. It whips up in no time and served with a quickly stir-fried veggie and rice, it makes a complete meal in under 30 minutes.
A very quick and easy chicken recipe that is always great when in a rush!
Tip: The cooking time can be shortened by cutting the chicken breasts in to halves or thirds before browning.
Serving Suggestion: When the chicken is cooked, remove from the cooking liquor, slice the chicken breast in to 6 or 8, place on a bed of rice, (wild and white is a nice mix), with steamed broccoli to the side.
