I absolutely love muffins!! My family does too... there are some muffins in here that i've tried and others that I haven't. I think they all sound good though!

This is a nice and refreshing quick bread loaf. It is perfect for gift giving or enjoying with your afternoon tea, and it freezes well too. It is one of my top sellers at our local Farmer's Market. Give it a try...I'm sure you will enjoy it.

    Recipe #294374

This was published in Southern Living's Feb 2008 edition. It is a re-make of the original recipe contributed by Willie Monroe from Homewood, Alabama. This version cuts down some of the fat intake and still remains as delish as the original recipe.

    Recipe #284106

"Just right!" Delicious, moist, and wholesome. This bread (a favorite with my brothers) uses no refined grains or sugars. Plus, it uses up those overripe bananas sitting on the counter! White whole wheat flour is made from a softer grain than regular WW, so it has a more tender texture but the same health benefits. Using it allows you to get all the fiber and nutrition of whole grains, but not risk turning out a hard, dry loaf! :) Besides white whole wheat, the bananas, applesauce, and wheat germ ensure that this bread is moist and flavorful. It freezes very well, so eat one loaf now and save the other one for later -- if you have any left over to freeze, that is!

A wonderful full-flavored bread - great with honey- or cinnamon-butter!

    Recipe #269136

This bread is so moist and flavorful that my kids even eat the ends, which for most quick breads I usually have to throw away. At Christmas, I make the mini loaves and give as gifts to my neighbors. The oil can be replaced with 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Still flavorful but not quite as moist. If possible, don't skip the walnuts, they really add to it.

I found (and lost) a great recipe from Sunset or Family Circle magazine about 25 years ago. This is my version from my spotty memory! BATTER WILL BE THICK! Works best with GRATED apple.

    Recipe #159170

A simple and tasty loaf for coffee or breakfast!

Pumpkin adds a twist of fall to the ever popular zucchini bread. Haven't tried this one yet but it looked like a winner so I thought I'd share it.

I love almost and combination of bananas and berries. This can also be made with strawberries, blackberries or blueberries. This recipe makes 4 breads or a whole lotta muffins. This way I get to freeze a bunch and always have some on hand!

    Recipe #143954

This quick bread recipe tastes like pumpkin pie. Tastes best when served the next day.

    Recipe #195348

This tetrazzini is made extra creamy by using cream cheese!!! I love this with leftover turkey from the holidays!

For those times when I'm short on time I'll have to remember how fast and easy this was and that it turned out not one but two loaves of the moistest and most delish bread that my husband said he dreamed about the whole next day. Of course, I've made healthy adjustments to fit my family's needs. I am planning on trying this with a yellow cake mix and also will try this same way but adding pineapple bits to the batter.

    Recipe #249888

This moist bread has been in the family for as long as I can remember. I like it because it's easily thrown together in one bowl and very moist -- perfect for a snack at work or school!

    Recipe #17123

My friend Amy recently sent me her recipe for her sweet zucchini bread. This is "...one of our all-time fave recipes for something dessert-like, even if it isn't specific to Thanksgiving." When her daughter brought home a baseball-bat sized zucchini this past summer, this is what they did with it. :) Makes 4 loaves.

    Recipe #48013

This recipe is great for breakfast on special occasions like slumber parties, Christmas morning, and a special send off when going back to college, etc ... It is always associated with fond memories at my house, both for the event and for the wonderful taste.

    Recipe #85015

This rich quick bread is a favorite with my family. I often give my husband a few slices to take with him on his commute to work, along with a tall travel mug of coffee.

This is my adopted recipe and have just made it last Saturday 10th September 2005. It is a light moist bread/cake with just a hint of cinnamon. I baked it in a ring tin which took 50mins to cook. Keep an eye on cooking time because using a different tin does make a difference. Cook too long and it will be a little drier. Also leave in tin for about 5 mins before turning out onto a rack to cool completely. I used this first as dessert while it was still warm. I put slices into dessert dishes and topped with custard and whipped cream. The remaining cake I used cold, sliced. You could also use the cold slices topped with a dollop of whipped cream for a special treat with a hot cup of coffee or tea, or serve slices lightly buttered, or just plain. Hope you enjoy it whichever way you choose to serve it. Thanks goes to the person who posted this recipe originally and I am happy to have adopted it. :)

All the flavors of Autumn combined into one scrumptious bread. This tastes great with coffee or tea! I make this using Egg Beaters and unsweetened applesauce in place of half the oil to make it healthier. Prep time includes cooling time.
