YUMMY! YUMMY! YUMMY!
Great for a hot patio party!
This makes a huge batch which you will need to make plenty of room in the freezer and have a BIG container.
I use a big tupperware cake taker.
WATCH YOURSELF WITH THIS DRINK, IT IS STRONG!
Posting this for ZWT II - Asia. This sounds really weird, but it's actually quite good. You'll see avocado ice cream in Asian supermarkets that carry foods and ingredients from the Philippines, and this is close to that. Give it a try, you might be surprised. Taken from Asian Food Web site.
It is no secret that I am a die-hard nanner fan. I love nanners any way I can get 'em. However, I think my favorite way to have them is in a flavorful drink. This recipe I got from an ancient cookbook compiled by home ec teachers. Miz Knaus (whoever you are), I salute you!! (Passive time is freeze time - it will vary depending on how firm you freeze it and how far ahead you make it. I would make it the day before serving, so I said 8 hours (overnight).
This is a comfort drink that gives your Home a Beautiful Aroma. Full of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger & cardamom. Like fruity Chai. I favor the Apple Schnapp or Buttershots if you opt for booze. You can always make it without the booze and let those that want it add it themselves. It would be fun to try the different kinds.
This is the most delicious punch. My mom used to make it for holiday gatherings. My sisters and I could never get enough of this punch and looked forward to gatherings when my mom would make it. It has a unique flavor with the cinnamon syrup. Appears as though it takes a long time to make but it is the cinnamon syrup that requires advance preparation. My mom would make the syrup up days in advance of the punch and store it in the refrigerator.
When I was little, my mom used to make this for company, especially in the summer. They never let me have any, and I was so jealous! Now I know what I was missing. Note - I had to guesstimate the yield - it makes an awful lot.
