No you're not seeing stars yet! Kidding aside this is a really good punch. I brought this to work and it did disappear. It's Fruity! Has Lots of Cheer! You can add more if you want. Or just skip it! Booze that is! And I raise my glass to a Healthy New Year to YOU ALL!!!

    Recipe #79736

This makes a great gift! Adapted from All Star Holiday Gifts on the Food Network by Tyler Florence, you'll love this! This is really rich, so you may want to cut back a little on the cocoa mix or just add 1/2 cup more water to the cup.

This is the most delicious punch. My mom used to make it for holiday gatherings. My sisters and I could never get enough of this punch and looked forward to gatherings when my mom would make it. It has a unique flavor with the cinnamon syrup. Appears as though it takes a long time to make but it is the cinnamon syrup that requires advance preparation. My mom would make the syrup up days in advance of the punch and store it in the refrigerator.

You can make this at home, it's easy and heart healthy! It makes a geat base for smoothies and sauces. Nuts are used prolifically in Africa and Asia.

Bring the Swiss Alps to you!I just posted this recipe on honor of the Gruyere Gurlz climb to the Alps. At least in a glass. After climbing the Alps I wanted to bring back the memories. So I tossed this drink together. In the 1860s, absinthe had become so popular that in most of Fraces cafés and cabarets 5 p.m. signalled l’heure verte ('the green hour'). Still, it remained expensive and was favored mainly by the bourgeoisie and eccentric Bohemian artists. By the 1880s, however, the price had dropped significantly, the market expanded, and absinthe soon became the drink of France; by 1910 the French were consuming 36 million litres of absinthe per year.

I saw this made on the Food Channel by Sandra Lee and thought it looked yummy. Anything with Amaretto has to be good! Can't wait to try it!

Posting this for ZWT II - Asia. This sounds really weird, but it's actually quite good. You'll see avocado ice cream in Asian supermarkets that carry foods and ingredients from the Philippines, and this is close to that. Give it a try, you might be surprised. Taken from Asian Food Web site.

If you like the refreshing and spicy taste of chai half as much as I do, then you're going to love how easy and good this is! I make up a batch once of twice a month and then enjoy my chai.

    Recipe #34713

Who doesn't like making their own liquor? I have a batch brewing a we speak! This is my first time trying the recipe, so lets hope it's a success. Adapted from Todd Wilbur's book More Top Secret Recipes.

It is no secret that I am a die-hard nanner fan. I love nanners any way I can get 'em. However, I think my favorite way to have them is in a flavorful drink. This recipe I got from an ancient cookbook compiled by home ec teachers. Miz Knaus (whoever you are), I salute you!! (Passive time is freeze time - it will vary depending on how firm you freeze it and how far ahead you make it. I would make it the day before serving, so I said 8 hours (overnight).

This is so pretty. It could be a "virgin Tequila Sunrise" so everyone can enjoy. Great to take along as you run out of the door, and elegant to serve at social events. Another winner from Betty Crocker.

    Recipe #213829

One of the first recipes David Lebovitz put up on his site was a hot chocolate recipe from Wittamer, one of the best chocolate shops in Brussels, where he actually worked for a time. The head chocolatier, Michael Lewis gave him this recipe, which they serve in their chic tea salon overlooking the place Sablon. Try to find the best chocolate you can(30-40%). Adapted from The Great Book of Chocolate.

This idea came from the food network where a chef pureed different fruits to let guests choose their flavor. I have included 6 different flavors for a perfect holiday or summer barbeque refresher.
