    Pumpkin WHAT?

A local restaurant serves pumpkin cannolis in the fall. I wish I had that recipe, but these are different than pie and sound wonderful!

Just in time for the holidays. A family favorite.

    Recipe #43842

My friend Dawn sent me this recipe to try, and I did... It's like a pumpkiny custard on the bottom and crumb topping on top, and loaded with nuts. It's just plain WONDERFUL! Great anytime, but also for the holidays, and a lot easier and quicker than making a pie :D I made this for the Cake-A-Thon to honor Chef-I-Am October 2007. I know she would have loved this cake :) Here's to you Tina!

This is a very moist bread and actually even tastes better the day after it has been baked.

Versatile fall favorite in our house. Great with spiced coffee or chai. Tasty kid approved treat - our toddler loves slices of this cake when it's still warm from the oven. Serve warm slices of cake with vanilla ice cream or warm homemade custard sauce and whipped cream for an excellent dessert. Fabulous, no matter how you slice it!

Words cannot describe how yummy this cake is. It's been a hit each time I've made it. It's easy and tasty, what more could you ask for?

These little beauties are a beautiful color and will keep you full for hours after eating just one serving. I needed to use up extra canned pumpkin and thought I'd give it a try. - I got it out of the Martha Stewart Living magazine

    Recipe #187362

I got this recipe out of a church cookbook many years ago. It is a simple and delicious pumpkin bread. My daughter who hates coconut loves this bread. It is so moist and tasty that it really does melt in your mouth.

As fall is fast approaching I have been digging through my recipes for things of a fall and winter nature. This is a good one! I have never had it fail and it always tastes wonderful. I believe this came from NESTLE's site

    Recipe #184460

Years ago I was visiting a friend of mine who also likes to cook. Neither of us had made risotto before, mainly because the stirring, stirring, stirring part of it makes it sound complicated and time consuming. But, that evening we bit the bullet and made one. It came from one of her cookbooks (I know not which one). When I got home, I decided I liked the risotto so much, that I would have a go at it myself. As I did not remember the receipe, I adlibed a bit, so this is as much mine as the person who ispired us to give it a go. My friends have since dubbed this "Emma Risotto".

Another recipe that I just have to try but need to post to save. This looks and sounds like a great alternative to traditional pumpkin pie.

A delicious autumn dessert. Serve this either warm or cold with Yogurt Dessert Sauce. This recipe comes from The New American Diet cookbook.

    Recipe #103838

The recipe is from Nestle (I'm not taking credit for it) and it was sooo good that I had to post it here for safe-keeping. It originally called for vegetable oil which I subbed with applesauce as I do with all my baked goods to cut calories and I tweaked a few other things. This is perfect to make when you have only a little bit of pumpkin left! A little goes a long way for this recipe. NOTE: I just modified this recipe because I made it again, and used 1 oz Baker's bittersweet choclate instead of cocoa powder. Came out so much better! Sweeter and creamier. I think adding 1 tbsp milk or cream will give it a nice lustre too.
