These potatoes come out perfect and are so fast! They can be seasoned and served as a side dish, or chilled to use in potato salad.

    Recipe #381118

This is a French country beef stew cooked using a pressure cooker. I found it in the Better Homes and Gardens Pressure Cooker Cookbook. I did make a few changes to clarify some steps. I have not tried it myself yet, so let me know if you try it!

    Recipe #382654

This is my recipe for cooking frozen peas or butter beans (Lima beans) in the pressure cooker. We put up purplehulls, crowders and butter beans from our spring garden (yes, we are Southerners), but this recipe works with any frozen legumes, either home frozen or store bought.

    Recipe #382970

These ribs cook up fast and the meat melts in your mouth! I've only used beef ribs, my husband's preference, but you certainly could substitute pork ribs. The nutritional values would change. I adapted this recipe from a favorite slow cooker recipe. These are very saucy ribs, messy and delicious! My husband calls them AWESOME!

Simple and delicious with meat, cold meat or fish.

Delicious, non-slimy way to turn okra into a side dish or low-meat main dish.

This makes the best gravy and the most tender roast. My grandmother makes this all the time for company. Everyone always loves it and it makes the house smell wonderful. My favorite part has always been the tender, gravy flavored vegetables.

Note: Prep time does NOT include marinating time... The flavors of the southwest infuse a tender and juicy beef brisket recipe that cooks in your pressure cooker. The beef does need to marinate before cooking, so plan ahead and start this the day before you want to serve it. From busycooks.com.

I have not tried this recipe yet. I am posting for safe keeping. This is off the Presto website.

    Recipe #394544

I've been on the search for Pressure cooker recipes since I finally tried one I found in the taste of home magazine. We like it so much that I wanted to make it a habbit of cooking in the pressure pot when we are stressed for time instead of going out to eat. I have not tried this recipe yet. I found it on Presto website.

This recipe is similar to one by Alton Brown, but I like my chili with more ingredients

A pressure cooker makes this much faster.

    Recipe #402156

Easy way to do your corned beef year round.

    Recipe #402400

Vietnamese has to be my favourite cuisine -- and I am always looking for great Pho, this wonderful beef broth eaten with rice noodles. I had searched and searched for an easy at home recipe but it should really brew for hours!! One day, I was watching Alton Brown make beef stock on TV using a pressure cooker - and voila! This recipe was born - and believe me it tastes just like the real thing!

    Recipe #403391

I replaced my electronic pressure cooker so I'm on the hunt for a variety of good recipes for it. I found this one on a few different web sites but don't see it on Zaar. If you are using a regular stove top pressure cooker it should be fairly easy to adjust accordingly.

    Recipe #403844

This is a variation of cooking basic beans in the pressure cooker. As I was craving beans, I just threw this together with what I had on hand and the result was very good!! The ham was leftover and I was out of fresh onions so I used onion powder. I only use a digital pressure cooker so I can't speak for how this will work for the old fashioned kind. This is a great dish - ready in under an hour, start to finish!!

    Recipe #406354

Easy, fast and tasty. I adapted this from Miss Vickie's Big Book of Pressure Cooker Recipes, which was the best pressure cooker cookbook I found in our local library.

    Recipe #371326

Love this simple delicious recipe made FAST with a pressure cooker. Mind you, this is different from a pressure canner ... usually. These are very useful safe kitchen tools that make delicious meals that taste as if they have been simmered for hours, but FAST! Received via email from Thurston Beauchamp - thank you Thurston!

    Recipe #375499

This is a super easy recipe and SO good! Makes it's own gravy. I adapted this from my favorite crock pot recipe for pot roast. Just cook and serve with steamed rice. I'm new to pressure cooking and I just LOVE it!

    Recipe #380069

A great tasting beef stew in minutes rather than hours. I wanted beef stew one night for dinner but didn't have time to do it in my slow cooker, so I modified the recipe for my pressure cooker and it was ready in 30 minutes and turned out better than in the slow cooker..
