Zesty and flavorful with a little kick. I find that this is even better if you use chicken still on the bone. This is so convenient, I always have a batch in my freezer for those nights when I just don't feel like cooking.
From Good Housekeeping magazine. I am cooking it right now, so I haven't tried it, but it sounds so good! I substituted chicken breasts for the thighs and 1/2 tsp of chipotles in adobo for the paprika.
This sounds like a really odd combination but it is really yummy! I haven't met a Paula Deen recipe that I haven't liked yet. :) My notes are in parentheses. I've also used Recipe #278160 for the soup.
