    Poultry!

I love chicken! Especially when it's grilled! We raise our own chickens and turkeys to eat, so I'm always on the lookout for some good ol' chicken and turkey recipes!

Tender, fall-off-the-bone chicken! Skip the overnight refrigeration if you are in a hurry. For variety, eliminate the onion and substitute a quartered lemon or two, stuffed into the chicken cavity. Chef Shapeweaver had a good suggestion: Use Fajita Seasoning Mix #28011 as another variation. Thanks! The standard size slow cookers are a bit too small and a whole chicken won't fit. You'll need a 6-quart slow cooker for this recipe.

    Recipe #33671

This is for serious garlic lovers. The chicken bakes out so moist and tender! Grated cheese may be sprinkled on top of the breast the last 5 minutes of cooking if desired but that is optional. Double all ingredients for more than four breasts and adjust the amount of garlic to suit taste. For the coating amount you might be able to get away with 5 or maybe 6 very small chicken breasts, but I would suggest to increase the amount slightly --- to take this dish to yet another level, about 10 minutes before the cooking time is finished, drizzle the top of the chicken with a little pasta sauce, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Return to oven for about 10 minutes until the chicken is completely cooked and sauce is hot and cheese has melted. For a lemon-garlic flavor add in 3 tablespoons lemon juice to the melted butter/garlic mixture --- *NOTE* for a healthier alternative Smart Balance Butter Blend may be used in place of the melted butter --- you will love this chicken! An easy appetizer or part of a meal. Try using other dressings for a different taste, use cilantro instead of parsley or add some chili powder for an extra zing

    Recipe #12466

This is a wonderful and simple to prepare comfort food using things you probably already have around. Kids love it- but so do adults. At least, in this home. Try it. It is one of my quick and easy favorites. This is my first submitted recipe... be kind.

Try this burger recipe for a great change of pace! Notes: Find Japanese panko bread crumbs on the Asian food aisle in a well-stocked supermarket or in Asian markets. For a different flavor, add curry powder or ginger and soy sauce. Please remember that if you use less chicken to cut back on the garlic, we are garlic lovers, I once used less chicken and didn't, and while the overall taste was great, the garlic was a little overwhelming, even for us. These mini burgers hold together no problem, remained juicy and cook though very evenly, a 'must' for me when making burgers. Since this has some specifically asian ingredients I have decided to put this into ZWT: Asia.

One day I was making this marinade and wondered how it would work if injected. It was perfect! The marinade has endless variations. I like to add roasted garlic and whirl in a blender or processor. Be sure to strain it before injecting if you do this.

This sounds like a really odd combination but it is really yummy! I haven't met a Paula Deen recipe that I haven't liked yet. :) My notes are in parentheses. I've also used Recipe #278160 for the soup.

This has become a family favorite - I found this recipe on a bag of tater tots several years ago. This is very similiar to a Chicken Pot Pie with a Tater Tot topping instead of bread. It makes a great one dish meal with a salad and bread.

    Recipe #133699

Pasta in a light Caesar sauce topped with crisp, browned croutons.

One of my favorite sandwiches is Schlotzsky's Asian Chicken Wrap. Found the ingredients but was unable to find the actual recipe. This is my version. Tonkatsu is a Japanese sauce that this available in most supermarkets or make your own, recipe included. Do not leave out the cilantro . . it's the most important ingredient. Cooking time includes making your own Tonkatsu sauce.

I saw this sandwich on a menu at a restaurant, and wrote down the description. After some research I came up with this. I am convinced the restaurant sandwich couldn't have been better! Its an amazing dish! We left off the bun and placed all the ingredients on a plate, salad style.I know it would be out of this world on a hawaiian bun, but we can't have bread..( sigh) It also listed swiss cheese as an ingredient, and altho we didn't use it, I did post it as part of the recipe.Time does not include marinating time, nor the time to cube the mango.

After enjoying an Arby's sandwich I could not help but try to make one similar because it was that good. I think this is pretty close, but better because all the fruits are fresh. I don't really measure so, the measurements are guesses, and it's more of getting a desired consistency. Also use your own favorite type of bread. I preferably use whole grain wheat.

Shaker Tavern is the hotel built in Logan Co., Kentucky near the Shaker settlement here. When the Shakers were here in Kentucky, they ran the tavern as a moneymaking establishment. Their cuisine was top notch. This dish is still served at the tavern and is absolutely over the top.

This is a terrific, sweet chicken salad with a Hawaiian flair. Great way to use up leftover chicken or turkey.

This is almost too easy to be called a recipe, but I had to share it anyway. I came up with it one night when I wanted a nice meal but wasn't feeling too motivated. I love Crock-Pot cooking!

A few months ago I made this great sesame chicken that my mother and I loved.... problem was it was one of those dinners where I added a little of this... a little of that.... and could not for the life of me remember what on earth I put in it!! So after months of tinkering in the kitchen I FINALLY came up with the recipe last night, and wrote down all the ingredients!! Enjoy!

This has to be one of the most amazing chicken dishes I have ever made or eaten. It's really scary to watch people just attack this dish and practically inhale it in one breath. Brush up on your Heimlich Maneuver, people do get a little over-enthusiastic over this. Prep time includes marinating time.

I got this recipe off a bag of egg noodles. I typically assemble the casserole in advance and have kept it in my freezer for 1-2 months. You may want to add some additional salt and pepper to taste.
