One of my brothers refers to these as "300 lb. potatoes". Because if you ate as much as you'd like to, you'd be 300 pounds. These are not for the diet conscious. These go great with a meat that doesn't have gravy.

    Recipe #145831

This is fabulous! Found in an Easy Home Cooking recipe booklet. Very simple but so delicious.

One pot veggie and potato dish that will surely make a hit with your family.

    Recipe #44736

I ate these growing up. I don't know if my Mom happened to be out of potatoes one day and just tried carrots or if she got them out of a book. She doesn't remember, but I seem to remember her just substituting the carrots because we were out of potatoes. They're much better when you keep the carrots and onion almost to equal amounts

I know what you're thinking....another potato soup...that's what I thought too until I tasted it. This is good served with "Jiffy" cornbread muffins, especially on cool autumn nights or cold winter nights. Positively a comfort food. This recipe is from a lady that I worked with at school.

This just might become your favorite potato salad, it has been a long-time family favorite! Plan ahead the potato salad needs to chill for about 2 hours or more before serving to blend flavors. Fresh garlic can most certainly be used in place of garlic powder but the fresh garlic tends to burn when baked in the oven and produces a strong flavor, I most always use the garlic powder.

Have you ever posted a recipe and just love reading the reviews for it? This is my signature potato salad. Whenever there is a pot luck function at work, I am TOLD that I have to bring the potato salad. No one else is allowed to and I am never given a choice. Thank you everyone who ever tried this potato salad and for leaving such glowing reviews for it. You all have made me look so good. I personally can not stand eggs or raw onions, so I leave them out but I know most people don't think a potato salad is complete without them. Thanks again for so many wonderful reviews. (psssst....check out my recipe #123107 as well. It shares the dressing with this recipe but tastes much much different because of the different ingredients) Please see Recipe #242966 for bacon bit tips.

This is a Penzey's Spice recipe I picked up while in Dallas. A great recipe for a real meat and potatoes meal.

You put onions, garlic and potatoes together and how can you go wrong? The caramelized onions and garlic are so sweet and buttery goes great with the potatoes.

Who said they didn't like sauerkraut? C'mere! I got something for ya'! (I'll make you a believer yet!) The dipping sauce I used in the pic is honey mustard, but you could use whatever you like.

This is such and easy way to dress up a baked potato, visually and deliciously! The recipe is by Marcia Kiesel from Quick Flavor Fixes. Recipe Variations: You can use the butter on roasted baby potatoes, pasta or even grilled seafood. Note: I made this recipe with frozen corn in the past. I think it is better with fresh....but in a pinch frozen (completely thawed) would do.

Here's a must for parties, football Sundays, or other crowd-oriented events. If there are any leftovers (doubtful!), this is also a wonderful baked potato topper...

    Recipe #128054

This has been a holiday tradition and special occasion dish in our home and with our friends...I usually serve them with baked ham, but when the meal calls for mashed potatoes, and you want to give your family a treat, I suggest you try these! YUM!

I made Derfs Herbed Onion Potatoes recipe #32771 had left overs and came up with this pie! Just take note on my review. I added cooked crumbled bacon to my potatoes. I'm sure this will work without them! I'm actually eating it as I'm typing up this recipe. It's great for breakfast, snack, lunch, or a side to dinner. Easy to bring for a picnic, or a pot luck. You can make it with a pie crust just fill the pie crust and cook the first 15 minutes at 425 degrees then reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees for 30 more minutes.

Indoor Or Outdoor BBQ Potatoes. Either way they come out yummy. For better clean-up in oven you can also do the foil!

    Recipe #32015

They serve these at a local restaurant here in TX. This is NOT a casserole! These guys are dressed for dinner in their best jackets! The WHOLE potato, baked and split like a white baked potato. You just gotta try these to believe how simple and delish they really are! Enjoy!

This is our version for Thanksgiving. Wonderful fresh taste! Not for those who want a marshmallow covered sweet potato! Recipe can be double but you must allow for more cooking time.
