The smell while these are cooking is divine.

    Recipe #10075

A decadent and delicious new way of preparing potatoes.

    Recipe #76477

These creamy, fragrant baked potatoes will perfume your entire house when served. Simple and wonderful. From Rozanne Gold, a favorite cookbook author.

    Recipe #80215

Found this recipe in a local fundraising cook book. It is quick, easy and tasty. You can vary the herbs to your individual taste, but the thyme and rosemary are my favorite.

I decided to to make this with some potatoes I needed to cook, as well as some harissa I had and a huge bag of sesame seeds that begged using. It's quite enjoyable with just a little spiciness. Goes great plain, with more harissa, ketchup, or a little yogurt dip.

Delicious. I make this each family get together, it is a bit time consuming to prepare but so special it's worth it. Note: can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance.

    Recipe #271538

This is a wonderful comfort dish that is perfect when the first nip in the air makes its presence. Time does not include freezing.

This is a simple and delicious Potato Gratin. I usually add some fresh minced herbs such as sage, thyme or parsley. I also never peel my potatoes no matter what potato dish I am making. (Except for gnocchi lol) Prep time is approximate. This is adapted from Cooks Illustrated, Nov. 1995 issue. I hope you enjoy as much as we do!

A hearty Alpine-style bake with rich cheese and smoky bacon – ideal after a day on the slopes…or just a walk round the park

    Recipe #356148

This is a tasty variation of the Irish Colcannon.

    Recipe #351170

This pie, with its potato crust, hails from a Serbian food magazine, says Medena at www.cafechocolada.blogspot.com/ . A lovely pic of said pie sitting pretty on a springform bottom utterly had me hooked. Now I actually hope we have cold weather until I get home so I can fully appreciate this pie. Thinking this should be very adaptable for whatever cheeses one could have on hand - nice inexpensive way to use up bits.

    Recipe #350462

Adapted from a recipe in The Australian Women's Weekly's 'little pies & cakes'. When I made this recently for guests, I had one guest who doesn't really like anchovies so I made two with sardines - a bit fiddly as I had to make two separate lots of cream! But I was impatient to try the recipe. There were four of us and so we each sampled the sardine version: the verdict was that both were very tasty. For serving to family, you might want to make this in the one larger dish. If you do this, remember to adjust the cooking time appropriately.

I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Cooking Light magazine. Serve this warm twist on potato salad as a side dish with steak or roast chicken. A serving is 3/4 cup.

    Recipe #338385

Adapted from a recipe by brightlightz at www.allrecipes.com.

    Recipe #333206

Adapted from a recipe by numnum at allrecipes.com. If you are in a hurry, boil the potatoes and serve with the sauce.
