An easy way to dress up new potatoes.

    Recipe #325337

I'm not a big scalloped potato fan, because often I find that they are bland or have a nasty texture. These are the exception! If you have a mandoline or a food processer, use it to slice the potatoes- you need them to be really thin.

    Recipe #295081

Sprinkle on more cheese as soon as the muffins are pulled from the oven so it can melt. Feel free to get creative and add French fried onions or diced tomatoes, etc. to this recipe.

    Recipe #249190

These are the perfect compliment to any Greek cuisine. Very Tasty!!! I serve these with Recipe#229467 & Recipe#229464 for the ultimate Greek meal!

    Recipe #229464

Having come to California from the Netherlands where the weather wasn't always conducive to grilling, my husband has decided he's now rather fond of the barbecue. One of his previous forays into potato-hood (thinly sliced and grilled in a packet) knocked my socks off, so last night I asked him to make those "potatoes like that one time". Taters are wonderful veggies to grill and take quite kindly to herbs. Here, the method and ingredients result in darker, partially crispy potatoes. Toss some peeled garlic cloves in there for some REAL zammy flavor. ("zammy"?....what the....?)

    Recipe #262048

My uncle uses a tin foil pouch and fills it with potatoes, onions, and adobo seasoning...then he cooks it on the grill. I used the tin foil part of his recipe and used an oven and different seasoning instead. Please be careful when opening up the tin foil when it comes out of the oven. Steam shoots out!

    Recipe #319401

Just thought I would try these roasted red potatoes on the grill and they were so good that I thought I would post the recipe. You can also add chopped onions, and green or red peppers, too.

    Recipe #181745

This is a easy Greek-style potato dish that goes great along side any main meal, of course you may adjust all seasonings to taste. In Greece this is served with crusty white bread to dip into the juice! Plan ahead the potatoes need to chill for a few hours before cooking.

    Recipe #77725

I love Asiago cheese and the flavor of it, although you can easily substitute freshly grated parmesan cheese in this recipe if needed. The cheese goes so well with the garlic, it is a perfect pair.

    Recipe #82867

Baking meatloaf was sending an aroma of goodness through the oven door, that followed like a wave to the family room. "Oh boy", my Dad, (who is 89) said, "Now, that smells good!" My Dad is not a man the gives compliments easily, nor is he the gushy type. But he is a hard working man, even at the age of 89 that appreciates (abate quietly) the finer things of life. The comfort of meatloaf begs to have a comforting, but a simply prepared side dish that will fill the stomach and bring happiness ever so quietly, to your soul. Late in the Fall we had dug potatoes, (even though it was still quite warm out for our State) and I had put them in the dark, cool basement to carry us through the winter and early Spring months. I went down to the basement and grabbed a few little potatoes and quickly went about making this very simple, but very heart warming potato dish, of course to feed my Dad as well as my family. Sometimes, there is nothing more satisfying then the normal, simple potato. I have used this recipe for probably 40 years, and to this day, it is as good tasting and filling as it was years ago.

You don't have to wait for warm weather for this dish, just pop it in the oven. You can also make this in 6 individual packets. And, no pan to scrub!

    Recipe #22719

Presoaking potato slices in hot water helps remove excess starch so they brown and crisp like oil-cooked fries.

    Recipe #315333

Another keeper from Alton Brown's show Good Eats! I don't make baked potatoes any other way now.

I have been fixing this for years. It came out of a Kingsford Barbecue book back in 1988. Tells you a little on how old I am. LOL. I no longer use the briquets. This works well on the gas grill also. Just throw on the grill and forget about it. Hope you enjoy them.

    Recipe #188818

Sounds better in French: Pommes de Terres Roties aux Herbes Variees. These are very pretty potatoes--and tasty too. Simple and elegant. From Georgeanne Brennan's "Savoring France."

    Recipe #233066

This recipe is total simplicity -- lightly smoked potatoes, perfumed with rosemary and olive oil.

    Recipe #225432

Another recipe from Cuisine magazine. Delicious. We all know that the crispiest fries will always be deep fried but these come close and the flavor is outstanding.

    Recipe #312305

This is a very simple and yummy way to get even the fussiest eater to enjoy the sweet potato.

    Recipe #139883

I found the recipe on the internet. It's amazing. I have also used frozen french fries instead of fresh potatoes and it came out great.

    Recipe #97763

Beautifully soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, these little potatoes are a treat! Using a garlic or herb-infused olive oil would really take them over the top, or try tossing in a bit of fresh herbs at the end. Delicious!
