This recipe comes from The New American Diet Cookbook with some changes by me. The secret here is to soak the potatoes in ice water for 10 to 15 minutes while the oven is preheating.

    Recipe #250232

What does the 350 mean? 95% percent of what I cook in the oven seems to cook at 350 degrees, and when I look for something to cook along with it, it nearly always cooks at a higher or lower temp. Rather than having to figure out, "ok, do I need to cook this at a lower temp for a little longer or at a higher temp for a little less?," I came up with this easy roasted potato dish that cooks at 350 and goes with just about everything. Shown in photo with recipe#242508 and recipe#107411.

I saw Melissa make these on the Next Food Network Star show and wanted to try these for my family. Quicker baking time with the smaller portions. NOTE: I layered the potatoes, cheese, seasonings and onion several times and cooked it closer to an hour in my oven.

This herb rub, by way of Biba Caggiano, is used throughout Emilia-Romagna. It's wonderful on roast chicken or pork or tossed with roasted potatoes in their last ten minutes of cooking. It will keep in a tightly covered jar in the fridge for several weeks.

    Recipe #150610

This is my 14 year old daughter's recipe; she made this up when she was around 10 years old. Try it you will like it!

Whole baking potatoes are rolled in garlic butter and bread crumbs and baked. These are really delicious.

    Recipe #95277

I made this up tonight in search of something different from baked(boiled)potatoes. My oven was not working yet so I decided to pan fry them and they were a hit. ***Updated on 9/16 to add that potatoes should be browned and to add more oil as needed.

    Recipe #172272

These potatoes are so simple yet the flavor and texture is incredible. I have had friends say they will not bake a potato any other way after trying these!

Baby potatoes are boiled, drained and then covered with a creamy cheese sauce. All is done on the stovetop and ready in about 20 minutes. Simple and yummo!

There's no salt pork added. This dish cooks up fast if done in the microwave. Substitute the butter to make it vegan. I love this the next day for lunch. Quartered red potatoes can also be used.

    Recipe #243537

Fantastic side dish, good with just about any entree, and very easy to make.

I serve this on special occasions. You may be able to substitute white potatoes, but with the Italian Fontina I prefer this with unpeeled red potatoes.

These mashed potatoes are made extra yummy by adding garlic and mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Recipe can be prepared and refrigerated until serving time. Just increase cooking time to be sure casserole is heated through.

    Recipe #135629

I'm always on the lookout for new ways to season oven fries. This twist is from Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello.

My husband loves baked potato. Summer turning to winter, and I decided to make roast potatoes one night. My creativity started rolling and it turned out like this. Surprisingly Yummy!
