This is my sister Annalie's recipe, and I have her permission to post it! LOL! She says: "This is simple and tasty. I think the sauce will go well with chicken too. My husband and I love hot food, so feel free to leave out the chili flakes or use less."
Fast prep. and into the oven! Do take note that Sweet Thai Chilli Sauces do differ from one brand to the next: I have 3 brands at the moment and they are definitely not similar, and one is markedly hotter than the others. The Maille mustard should be available anywhere. This is a delicious, tangy sauce for pork, and thickens while baking. I find pork loin chops which are simply done in a pan are often hard -- but not when baked with this sauce. I cut most of the fat rind off and leave on only a strip of fat for juiciness.
A simple but delicious combination of wine, juices and spices brighten ordinary pork chops. Marinate for at least 4 hours and then grill. Absolutely delicious! Could also be made ahead for OAMC meal. Just combine the ingredients with the chops in a freezer bag and freeze. *Cooking time is approximate, will vary based on your grill*
I cut this out of a cooking magazine, probably Taste Of Home and changed it to suit or our tastes. It sounds like a very flavorful way to have pork chops and to keep them moist. I haven't made them yet but plan to make them and serve them over mashed potatoes, yummy!!!!! Note: This recipe also works great in a crock pot. My friend and I have decided that it is easier to just mix all the sour cream with the soup and broth in the beginning.
These chops are so easy and very tender. It's based on a recipe in the Mama Dip's Kitchen cookbook. Be sure to follow the important steps of letting the chops rest with the salt and seasoning before cooking, then browning the sides slowly, followed by a covered "rest". Mama Dip is a traditional Southern U.S. cook, chef, restauranteur and cookbook author.
This will make your kitchen come alive with its garlicky, herby aromas. Use plenty of lime and cilantro, too! It's a two-step process; start it a day ahead, then serve with my Cuban black beans, or tucked into a sandwich or even a tortilla with the trimmings. Prep time includes overnight seasoning in refrigerator.
Yummy and versatile. You can use this recipe for salmon, flounder, chicken or pork. I've used it for all of those and it always turns out fabulous! It's fast, too so it's good for a weeknight meal. It's really good with macaroni and cheese.
I am going through my saved recipes that I cut out of magazines, and this is one of them I thought sounded tasty! For those that like it with a little more kick, add some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes. Note: Time doesn't include marinating time.
Update: I have now made this several times. I just love that the marinade is so quick to make and that I am able to cook it outdoors on the grill, very important here in Florida. This is such a tasty pork chop compared to fried or baked.
I came up with this recipe because my husband loves pork chops and I was tired of eating them. It turned out to be so good, I wont make them any other way. The pork chops have a great lime flavor with a little kick. I always serve with rice and veggies. This recipe is for 2, but I have made it for 4. Just use smaller half inch pork chops.
