This is a fantastic cake, prep time includes baking the cake and refigeration time --- you can use white cake in place of the strawberry if desired :)

    Recipe #121323

This is by far one of the best cake recipes. You simply must try it! 8) Very fun, refreshing, wonderful cake for summer! Enjoy!

    Recipe #36015

I made this cake once for a boy scout auction and it sold for $75.00! I wanted to say..."it's a cake mix!" but of course I didn't. Sometimes cake mixes can make fantastic desserts...this is one of them!

    Recipe #81687

This is so easy to make, looks elegant, and tastes delicious!

    Recipe #57090

This recipe is slightly different from the others, this calls for a German Chocolate cake mix, rather than Devil's Food. I bet both are wonderful. This version of recipe is from CDKitchen.com

    Recipe #229613

I love "poke" cakes during the hot Texas summers. This sounds cool and refreshing. Found on the back of Betty Crocker Super Moist Lemon cake mix. Cook time includes chilling time. Update, I made this today and boy is it cool and refreshing since the temp. here in Texas was 96 today. I had a can of regular frosting and had some Cool-Whip left over from another time so I combined and made a nice creamy frosting.

    Recipe #244967

This fun cake is wonderful for parties, showers, and anytime you want a refreshing, lemony dessert. It is called "poke" cake because you poke holes in the cake and pour pudding into these. Once cut, the pudding will make yummy stripes through each slice. You could adapt the recipe for your favorite flavor cake and pudding combo. Please note: cook time is for cake.

    Recipe #140133

Use only a very large-holed straw or the long handle of a wooden spoon to make the holes in the top of the cake or the strawberry puree will not penatrate, the holes must be at least 3/4-inch large for this. Plan well in advance the baked cake must be room temperature before topping with the puree, then there are two 2-hour chilling times after, to save time you can bake the cake a day ahead, cool then cover with plastic wrap, prep time includes chilling times. Do not make the mistake of making this into a layer cake the topping will not hold onto the sides of the cake ;-) Yellow or lemon flavor cake mix works well for this or you can use Betty Crocker Super Moist Strawberry Cake Mix. This cake is nothing short of absolutely *FANTASTIC*

Start with a yellow cake mix, bake, then poke holes in it and pour a luscious cooked coconut mixture over the top. Frost with Cool Whip for added decadence. This is a real keeper!

    Recipe #111745

This is the moistest cake you will ever eat. I love it with strawberry jello and garnished with fresh strawberries. The Cool Whip makes such a pretty pure white and creamy frosting. It was my mom's favorite birthday cake. Prep time is also chill time

    Recipe #23480

Prep time includes the baked cake and chilling time.

    Recipe #59781

I love the smell of spices. I love spice cake! The butter sauce further sweetens it and makes it wonderfully moist. Good with Cool Whip or whipped cream.

    Recipe #190692

Needs only a handful of ingredients, including Milky Way candy bars and ice cream topping, for this yummy version of popular poke cake. It’s so easy, kids may want to whip it together themselves!

    Recipe #174184

This is my brother-in-law's favorite cake. It is a very moist, light, and refreshing cake with a tropical punch flavor. Especially good on a hot day.
