A great option for vegetarian lasagna. You will greatly enjoy the mix of vegetables in this dish! *Note: pasta sauce can be a white or red but I have found that if I'm freezing it, that the red works out best for me...none the less, I believe the original recipe does call for a white sauce. Thanks Marg (CaymanDesigns) for pointing it out.

This easy recipe is not just for kids. If you can get smoked salmon-flavoured cream cheese, use that instead of plain. It adds an extra dimension of flavour.

    Recipe #332477

What better to cook than something so fast and packed with flavor? I got this recipe from Sara Moulton's show. Instead of pulled rotisserie I just fried chicken breast with adobo. I also omitted the olives since they're not my taste. I almost went into a panic when I thought I lost the recipe. That's how much I love it!

    Recipe #62334

Found this recipe on Allrecipes.com. A very simple recipe for a tasty, satisfying pasta meal. You can make your own homemade pesto, or use store-bought for a quick and easy dinner. I also have used frozen grilled chicken breast strips for a quick and easy meal.

From Healthy cooking magazine. This I hve not made, but it looks delicious and I will be making it soon. I have a habit of losing recipes so now it is here for safe keeping.

The spinach "ricotta cheese" mixture is made with firm tofu and vegan cream cheese. It tastes rich & the white layer looks beautiful when served. Very easy to prepare and not runny like so many other vegetarian lasagnas seem to be. Very well received by non-vegans.

This is one of those pasta recipes where the pasta really takes a back seat to the sauce. The sauce really is amazing, or as one of my kids would say, "Killer!"

    Recipe #65956

This has been a family and friends favorite for over 40 years.

    Recipe #165178

This is the best spaghetti sauce -- everyone who tries it loves it. I've made it in the crock pot successfully also.

I know there's a zillion sauce recipies out there, but had to add this one since it's my favorite. My mom and I both grew up on this sauce and it's the only one my husband lets me cook. The kids scarf it up as well. Very versatile, too.

    Recipe #38289

From Emeril's Kid Cookbook, "There is a Chef in My Soup!" It is similar to his Recipe #220830, but with no meat and fewer spices. My kids *loved* making this! Allow for extra prep time if your kids are new to cooking. ;)

    Recipe #258179

    Wonderfully, crispy, fresh panini

    Recipe #286735

Found this recipe printed in a flyer at the market and I had fun with it adding things here and there. I give a list of suggestions for which vegetables to use as well as two different condiment spreads.

This is something I whipped up spur of the moment & I couldn't get enough. I love all the garlic & feta...pure bliss! Since I'm the only one in my household who eats pasta I always make just enough for me.

So I grew up in Cincinnati. 18 years of Cincy Chili, Ribs, Ice Cream, and, of course, LaRosa's Pizza, whose sauce is flavorful and SWEET. Now that I've been away, I find you can't get any pizza remotely close ANYwhere else. Now this is no copycat recipe, but it captures the spirit of Buddy L's pizza sauce. It complements vegetable toppings as well as meats... My wife and I have not ordered pizza out since this sauce was concocted... I HIGHLY recommend using caetb's pizza dough with this sauce. (Recipe #38512 - the one with the wine...) I put the ingredients in the bread machine and it turns out great every time. I cook the finished pizza between 400 and 425 degrees fahrenheit for 9-12 minutes on a normal cookie sheet, or 11-15 minutes on an "air cookie sheet." (My wife and I prefer the normal cookie sheet, so the crust cooks and the cheese doesn't burn...) I'd love to hear feedback from others, especially misplaced Cincinnati Folks - let me know your thoughts! Mike's Notes: Since I concocted and posted this recipe, I have been back to Cincinnati... Needless to say, when I had the "real thing," I was mildly disappointed! Doh! I'm thinking about decreasing the "sweet" contents by 1/2 tbsp each on the honey and brown sugar - it IS awfully sweet! Okay - enough already - enjoy!

    Recipe #113153

My kids will give up a steak dinner for this spaghetti. It is a recipe I have been perfecting for years and it is so good (if I may humbly say) that my kids are disappointed when they eat spaghetti anywhere else but home! In fact they tell me I should open a restaurant and serve only this spaghetti and garlic bread. In response to requests, I have posted the recipe for Recipe #28559 that uses approximately 1/2 of the sauce from this recipe. Have spaghetti one night and lasagna later! Thanks to all of you who have tried my recipe and have written a review. I read and appreciate every one of them! Chef Note: After I posted this recipe I remembered a funny incident--my dear husband usually has a nice bottle of wine handy so when I make a batch of spaghetti I just help myself to a splash of it. On one occasion, there wasn't a bottle opened, but there was a bottle sitting on the counter so I got out the corkscrew and helped myself. For some reason, the spaghetti that night was the best ever. My husband asked what wine I put in it and I showed him the bottle. He nearly fell off the chair. I had opened a rather expensive bottle he had bought to give his boss. Goes to show you--don't use a wine for cooking you wouldn't drink. You get the best results from a good wine!

    Recipe #22782

This gooey, cheesy pasta dish is fast and easy to make, and even the kids can help! From Ragu.

    Recipe #149583

This is a good way to get kids to eat eggplant. It doesn't have to be eggplant, either. I have made it with artichokes, and with capsicums (bell peppers) of different colours.

    Recipe #60653

This Penne a la Vodka recipe is better than any version I have ever had in a restaurant. I made it for my son's first birthday party (to keep the grown-ups happy) and it was a big hit. It has a spicy little kick from the red pepper flakes, but that is easily adjusted to suit different tastes. From "The Kosher Palette" cookbook.
