This tropical fruit is high in the enzyme bromelain and the antioxidant vitamin C, both plays a major role in the body's healing process. Bromelain is very effective in treating bruises, sprains and strains by reducing swelling, tenderness and pain. This powerful anti-inflammatory effect can also help relieve rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and reduce postoperative swelling. This enzyme helps break down the amino acid bonds in proteins, which promotes good digestion. Also the vitamin C and the bromelain, helps suppress coughs and loosens the mucus that often accompanies colds. One cup of fresh pineapple, has 73 percent of the manganese you need a day. You got the sniffles or upset belly, don't reach for a glass of orange juice or that fizzy stuff. That is good, but try pineapple juice instead. It has vitamin C like its orange cousin, but it also has bromelain. Studies have found it is effective in treating upper respiratory conditions and acute sinusitis. The next time you get a cold, make this recipe!contain little or no fat or cholesterol, and provide significant amounts of fiber, digestive enzymes, vitamin C, calcium, and potassium.

This very tender dough is made of fresh carrot juice. These packets can be frozen for 2-3 months. Freeze individually on cookie sheet then place into freezer bags. All your taste buds will will come alive! Make smaller for appetizers then Instead of boiling you can deep fry them, for a crispy treat.
