    This tropical fruit is high in the enzyme bromelain and the antioxidant vitamin C, both plays a major role in the body's healing process. Bromelain is very effective in treating bruises, sprains and strains by reducing swelling, tenderness and pain. This powerful anti-inflammatory effect can also help relieve rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and reduce postoperative swelling.     The tangy tartness of sorrel is nicely balanced with the cream to make a refreshing soup served cold for those hot days of summer but just as good served hot. Great to put into a thermos for a summer picnic.

    Thanks to Karen (kzbhansen) I used her Recipe #130249 as the marinade for these chicken and pineapple kabobs. Put as much as you like on each skewer you can also cut smaller to serve more. 5 -10 soaked wooden skewers or metal skewers

    I drink this at bowling on Monday nights: Coconut Rum Pineapple Juice Club Soda. Since it was St Patty's Day, I told the bartender to add some melon liqueur for the green color. GOOD STUFF! No problem doubling it or make a punch out of it! Blend it with some frozen melon!

    I took my traditional Polish background, put a twist on perogies then filled them with couple of my favorite ethnic (Indian,Thai,and yes even Italian) foods. This very tender dough is made of fresh carrot juice. These packets can be frozen for 2-3 months. Freeze individually on cookie sheet then place into freezer bags. All your taste buds will will come alive! Make smaller for appetizers then Instead of boiling you can deep fry them, for a crispy treat.

    This is easy and can be made the day before so your party will go smoothly. I would double! I've tripled the recipe for big parties and it was all gone. To make rum soak cherries check out Drunken Cherries recipe #50395. For this recipe I'd use coconut rum. Becareful these are very powerful!
