This is the most wonderful Strawberry Pie without a box of jello or tons of cornstarch. The filling is cooked on the stove.Which gives the depth of flavor one expects from this lucious fruit. It recently was in "Cook's Country" Publication.

    Recipe #368878

A honey-lemon syrup is poured over this nutty pie after baking, creating a new twist on baklava. Recipe created by Maria E. Irvine a Pillsbury Bake-Off 41 Contestant.

    Recipe #136853

Inspired by Kittincal Bass' Pecan Pie with Browned Butter, from Recipezaar. The browned butter adds depth, the brandy a bit of zip, and the vanilla caramel ice cream sent it over the top!

    Recipe #81929

I have had this recipe for many many years. I believe it originally came from a Karo syrup bottle. I make this every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Pecan pie and walnut pie are my favorite pies. The walnut pie has a toasted nut flavor.

    Recipe #76350

A cherry cheesecake baked inside a traditional crust! From Woman's Day 10/5/04

    Recipe #204739

From Sunset cookbook. I love this! It's my favorite pie. You get a lemon curd on the bottom and a thin lemon cake on the top but it pours into the pie crust all mixed up! Please use fresh squeezed lemon juice. If you love lemon desserts, you'll love this!

    Recipe #195525

A pie so good it is worthy of selling in a bakery! prep time includes the refrigeration time --- see my recipe#66929

    Recipe #107621

Sue says, "I remember the very first time I ever made this pie, it was at the restaurant, and when I put it out, it sold out in 20 minutes and people would call to see when we would be making it, so we put it on the menu. If you love lemon, this is the pie for you!"

    Recipe #270401

It is a traditional pecan pie with a crispy sweet twist. Garnish each slice with whipped cream and a sprinkle of additional toffee pieces.

    Recipe #326187

This is a fabulously easy pie that looks like you worked really hard! It makes its own crust and can be prepared and in the oven in no time. I found the original recipe in the "More With Less" cookbook and modified it slightly.

    Recipe #74620

Can you say yum? From the King Arthur Flour website. Buy lots of fresh cranberries while they are in season, and freeze to be able to make this year-round! Passive cooking time here = chilling time.

    Recipe #276263

This is a great recipe for parties, luncheons, or football Sundays.

    Recipe #248830

This recipe comes from "The Baker's Catalogue". This is a wonderful cholesterol-free pie crust and contains just 2 to 4 teaspoons of "good" fat-olive oil-per serving.

    Recipe #283830

I got this recipe in my culinary arts class and it was simply delicious. It's quick, rich and creamy! My family eats it up in no time! Note: I've made this with fat free cream cheese and light whipped topping and it works just as well:)

    Recipe #74790

St. Patty's Day is right around the corner... Fill a pie shell or serve in a dish. This is sooooooo yummy and you won't believe how easy it is to make. It's going to be hard to wait for it to chill, but it's worth the wait! The prep time includes time to chill.

    Recipe #288322

This is the pie that I won a $25,000 Scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America with.

    Recipe #285410

Sinfully rich! Recipe comes from 1996 Bon Appetite. Grand Marnier or bourbon can be substituted for the Kahlua.

    Recipe #243813

Now, this is the 1st recorded, BASIC Kentucky Derby Day Pie from Southern Indiana. Just across the river from Louisville, KY, where the Kentucky Derby made this pie famous! (We can't call it by it's original name here because of trademark/copyright issues, but this is the original Derby Day pie recipe.) I must be honest with you, that ever since this "famous 1st recipe" was used, there have been several other (MODIFIED) versions of this wonderful dessert...Most of them include some sort of Kentucky Bourbon!!! In my opinion, the ones that include that KY Bourbon are the best, but I wanted to share with you the ORIGINAL pie (from the 1920's)...Just FYI...

My grandma made the most wonderful custard pie. When I got to stay the night or weekend with her, she would always have this for me. Of course I could never ever make this like I remembered until I finally asked her for the recipe. One thing I cannot replicate is the use of fresh whole milk, but have come up with a pretty close substitution. THIS is comfort food at its' finest.
