My love of cranberries led to me to adopted this recipe. I think that it is the perfect fall pie with the crisp tartness of the berries shining about the sweetness of the apples. Original poster's comments: "Found this in the Sunday paper in the coupon section and it's become a huge hit. I'm not usually a fan of cranberries, but I like the flavor of this pie! I hope you like it, too!"

This is the apple pie I've been making for years and if using Pillsbury pie crusts (ready-made pie dough in the dairy section) is the perfect pie-making project for kids. Recipe adapted from an old church cookbook.

A longtime family favorite my grandmother's made for years and passed down. Very easy, very very rich -- like a wonderfully fudgier brownie, kind of. Great with a cup of coffee!

I recently found this in a magazine and it is wonderful. Very rich and almost sinful. Definitely a holiday dessert. I hope you like it. Cook time does not include refrigerating.

This pie has become a holiday tradition for us. It has a nice tangy/sweet taste, and it is great with whipped cream. It's also pretty easy as pies go.

I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. I tried it as one of several desserts with Christmas Dinner, and found it to be very rich. My hubby loved it, minus the cherries (not a fan). LOL

A deliciously different fruit pie. I like to use a combination of red and green grapes. Pie could be topped with a lattice crust instead of the leaf cut-outs.
