If potatoes are on sale, buy a bag and make your own frozen french fries. Prep and cooking times are approximate. The true time will depend, of course, on how many fries you make and how thick you cut them.
This was inspired by PetitFour's Carolina's Buttermilk Biscuits #52198. I needed a make-ahead biscuit mix so I adapted this fabulous recipe to my needs. For fresh biscuit snobs, you will be amazed by PetitFour's biscuits. The texture, aroma, and flavor are amazing. Mine are in a lesser caste, but still (according to DH) quite tasty.
After trying a couple of these muffins, I got the recipe from my friend Judy. It makes a large quantity but the mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a month. That sure makes it easy to have fresh, warm, healthy muffins for brekkie or a snack! Timing doesn't include standing.
When our grandkids sleep over, we usually watch a movie; they like seasoned popcorn but we pefer the plain old buttered stuff! All of the variations can be doubled or tripled, depending on the size of the container you plan to use. The Italian mixture should be kept in the refrigerator, as it contains fresh cheese.
