Philly is not only famous for cheesesteaks. Another famous favorite is Hot Roast Pork Sandwiches! After searching the web for the recipe and not finding it, I came up with this and the results were fabulous and authentic tasting. This is also delicious served as a main dish instead of for may want to slice it thicker and add a side dish or two :)

This is a pretty, quick and tasty stew. I like to serve it over egg noodles and topped with parmesan cheese. If I'm in the mood for spicy and smokey, I add one or two finely chopped chipotles with some of the adobo sauce when I add the tomatoes.

This is the way we cooked pork chops in my younger days down south. It is NOT a recipe for those beautiful thick chops that need tender care. It IS a recipe for quick, tasty meat with good old down home taste, and gnawing on the bone if you never make it to the gravy. Bone-in chops add a lot more flavor and they taste great with mashed potatoes. For those who grew up with brown gravy made with water, just substitute water for the milk/cream.

Cooking Light 12/08 The recipe didn't specify what type of mustard. I used dijon which tasted fine.

This is so delicious! My mother-in-law made it for us and I have made it ever since. It came from a magazine--I don't know what one but this is amazingly good! This makes a lot of crumbs. I froze mine in a ziplock and also used it on chicken. Enjoy!

A wonderfully elegant and easy pork tenderloin dish with a creamy herbed wine sauce. Very rich, without all of the fat and calories! Serve with garlic mashed potatoes. A wonderful dish.

From "Cook's Country by America's Test Kitchen," episode 105, "Autumn Supper." Boston butt is preferred for this long, slow cooking because of the fat content.

Simple, easy and so delicious, pork just pulls apart. You must serve over mashed potatoes--to die for!! Makes a lot of gravy, save leftover gravy--can be used over chicken the next day! Must be served with mashed potatoes--so good! NOTE: Marinate may be hard to find now--If you can not locate the marinade mix, you can order online at: worth it!

This is my idea of comfort food! This recipe was given to me by my mom. (I'm not sure where she got it from!) Sometimes I use chicken instead of pork, and it's still good!

Pork tenderloins are one of my favorites. This stew is so quick, tasty and easy to do on the stove that even you wont believe it. The German in me loves the flavors and we love it over noodles with a hearty German rye bread. Reminds you of fall and Oktober fest!

I always made this stew with beef, but pork is so much better.I made this according to my husband's likes. It is good with jean's Recipe #65340

WONDERFUL baked dish! This entree is a mainstay in our home and has been added to our family favorites list. May use bone-in or boneless pork chops. Easy and quick preparation. Note: One 6 oz. box of stuffing mix yields 6 servings. If your family likes a lot of stuffing you may consider using 2 boxes.

Stove top cooking at it's best. Very tasty and filling, almost like a veggie stew served with the steak. I think this would work an many different kinds of meats. I got this out of a magazine many years ago.

This is one of my favorite recipes for pork. I was inpired for the method by an article in a cooking magazine and then made it my own. The flavors are great and it really a fairly easy dish to make. Switch around the herbs and flavors, I always try something new and switch between fresh and dried herbs. I know 2 whole onions sounds like a lot for 4 servings, but they cook down and are the carrier of all of the flavor, after trying it you will probably increase it to 3! Use any kind of breadcrumbs you like, I love to make my own from whole-wheat bread and it tastes great. I truly believe it is a meal your family or friends will love to eat!

I'm adding this dish in response to the Eater's Digest article on 5 ingredients or less. This is so simple it doesn't seem to really be a recipe. It's also the only way my DH wants pork chops.

I have tried many recipes for pork tenderloin and this is the absolute best ever. It is so tender and juicy and great tasting. Hope you enjoy.
