    This recipe is a great meal. You can also add meat or seafood. I got this recipe from wegmans a store chain. We adjusted some of the measurements but it is delicious. Anyone that has tried this asks me for the recipe. ENJOY!

    Posted in reply to a message board request. This is the family recipe for homemade ravioli. I have included 4 filling variations along with the ravioli dough recipe. Please note that this dough was made by hand and not with a pasta machine. Feel free to use the fillings with your own favorite pasta dough recipe (hand or machine). Prep time includes 1 hour drying time.

    My nanna was from Italy, I loved it when she made gnocchi. It is a very time consuming process, but well worth the effort! The recipe can be varied with the addition of other ingredients (spinach, pumpkin, mushroom, herbs...) just let your imagination run wild! Serve with any sauce that tickles your fancy & lots of parmesan!!!

    I participated in RSC #11 and after the recipes had posted and the cooking was underway, this idea came to me. The 5 ingredients used from RSC are: sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, Asiago cheese, egg and spinach. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

    A quick and easy version of a robust Italian winter dish. It's versatile - use these "dumplings" as a pasta or a foundation for the entree (maybe my Smothered Mushroom Chicken? #113125). This recipe doubles or triples and works well with a simple tomato sauce, butter and sage, or with butter or good olive oil add a grind of black pepper and some Parmesan cheese. For my Smothered Mushroom Chicken recipe, this should be tripled.
