Another version of the popular springtime Italian dish. Have vegies ready to go before you start cooking.

    Recipe #456970

    PERFECT and EASY Carbonara Recipe!

    Recipe #449851

A simple pasta dish comes to the rescue for a fabulous meal. The flavours of pancetta, fennel and arugula are complemented wonderfully by the delicate cream sauce.

    Recipe #442523

Found in an old Cooking Light magazine which was their cover recipe. I love a variety of pasta primavera dishes and this one has a nice twist with the fresh asparagus and green beans. I just loved the dressing flavors with all the garlic and the pinch of nutmeg. I hope you enjoy it too!

    Recipe #437525

Shrimp and cream plus veggies... how can you beat it?

    Recipe #433693

From the book "Pasta Presto." You can use spaghetti, linguni, penne, rotini...really any pasta you like. You can also use any veggies you like. I tend not to use mushrooms as one of my kids don't like them and I always like adding a leafy green like spinach, kale, swiss chard, arugula or escarole. Whatever is available in your garden or at the farmer's market will probably work great.

    Recipe #433039

This is another "old timer" recipe that has been around too many years to count! I would put this one in the "special occasion" catagory...just for the calories alone!!!

    Recipe #427778

This dish is deliciously light and easy to prepare. Bucatini pasta a tubular pasta similar to spaghetti, but you could use any type of pasta.

    Recipe #70777

This recipe comes from a Ristorante in San Diego, CA. Prepare sauce while pasta is cooking to ensure that the fettuccine will be hot when the sauce is finished; the heat of the pasta cooks the raw eggs that are tossed with it.

    Recipe #61999

Invite some friends over and wow them with this delectable, creamy dish.

    Recipe #421069

This recipe comes from *Joy of Cooking* where it is called "Spaghetti with Egg and Cheese." Written for American audiences at a time when pancetta was virtually unavailable, it calls for bacon instead. Actually both are delicious -- just different -- so I'd try it with each and make up your own mind. Not the healthiest thing to eat, but some good as an occasional treat!

    Recipe #406138

I cut this out of a magazine a LONG time ago and it's one of my husband and I's favorite stand-by dishes! Don't be afraid of the garlic. The roasting mellows it out. I usually add even more than stated and he and I fight over every last one of them.

I used to love the boxed side dish "Noodle Roni Parmesano." I hadn't seen it in store shelves for quite some time, so I played around until I came up with something close to it. As it is just me and my DS at home these days, I intentionally developed the recipe as a side dish for two (or a main course for one!) Although I haven't tried it, I would imagine the recipe would double easily enough.

    Got this from Cook's Illustrated

Another delicious cooking Light recipe. I have tweaked the ingredients just a little to suit my tastes. The original receipe calls for a cup of dried currants, but I prefer it without.

    Recipe #367370

For those nights when you want to get something satisfying onto the table fast, this yummy pasta does the trick. Serve it with tossed green salad or a veggie side and you're good to go!

    Recipe #170062

A nutritious and filling version of this classic pasta dish, lighter than the typical American style and adapted for readily available ingredients. No eggs.

    Recipe #411874

Tortellini Michelangelo is a rich, creamy, and filling dish. Legend has it that Michelangelo conveyed his love for this dish through letters. I have seen this made sometimes with added chicken & prosciutto -sometimes just with mushrooms & peas... there are many varieties out there... some with meat tortellini, some with just cheese tortellini, and some use tri-color tortellini. This recipe is based on the dish from my local Italian Pizzeria here in NJ - theirs consists of: meat tortellini, chicken, pancetta, prosciutto, and minced onion in cream sauce. I use my own basic white cream sauce Recipe #302996 to make this dish and for this recipe you need to 1st prepare that sauce.

    Recipe #303050

One of the "Best Food and Wine Pasta Dishes" of 2009. States, "This delicious pasta was the fastest adnd simplest to prepare of all the winners." Feel free to top it off with some parmesean cheese and/or some lemon zest!
