Friends are grilling steaks (from beef raised on their ranch...YUMMY!) and lobster. I am providing the rest of the meal. The last of the Christmas Cookies will be served for dessert.

Courtesy of Sandra Lee on foodnetwork.tv. Saw her prepare these and they looked very interesting and different, needless to say very tasty. It was on her episode "Asian Hot & Spicy". Chilling time is an hour.

You've gotta try these! The flavor of the lil' smokies gets into the meatballs and the sauce is divine - nicely sweet with a little spice from the chili sauce (not hot). Omit the horseradish if you don't like any heat. You can make these in the crockpot, the oven, or an electric skillet.

Super quick and easy. Great little take along to parties, they fly out of the bowl. A lot of butter yes, use them for a celebration, for any reason you want to celebrate LOL

I got this off a Hellmann's coupon, I think. It is super duper easy & extremely good. I made this for the first time last week for friends, and they raved & raved. It's like artichoke dip already on the bread! I liked it a bit broiled on top.

I've been looking for more salad ideas for the summer, and this one from Cooking Live on the Food Network got my attention! Just your basic spinach salad.

This is from Taste of Home, i tried it recently and it was a big hit. It's very simple to make, and is great when you want to spruce up a boring potato dish. They can also be served as appetizers I would think.

I developed this recipe to lure my kids into eating spinach. It worked! Spinach in almost any form is one of their favorite veggies. Big "kids" enjoy these rich, filling potatoes as well, and I often make them for dinner parties. I haven't tried freezing them, but I imagine you could make a batch and stick them in the freezer to keep for another day.
