These are a favorite at my husband's office. We love to have them and they get hotter with time. Perfect party food or for a work carry-in.

    Recipe #31561

Great appetizer for your friends who like it HOT!! I put a dish of salsa with them for dipping.

A very buttery and smooth cheese spread.

    Recipe #31669

I've tried many hummus recipes, and this is the easiest and tastiest one! It seems a bit like cheating, but one bite and you'll never make it any other way. The Annie's dressing is tahini based and full of other flavors that lend themselves well to hummus. This is an easy, economical and tasty alternative to expensive, preservative-filled storebought hummus. It is delicious!

I am not sure who Gigi is but she sure caught my eye with this recipe! Cook time is refrigeration time.

    Recipe #54167

    They are soooooooooo good.

    Recipe #75608

These are easy and yummy seasoned potato skins filled with bacon and cheese!

In our family, we call this "Crunchy-Crunchy." My mother-in-law makes a big batch of this every Christmas. We receive it in the big box of gifts and my youngest is very excited to see "Grandma's Crunchy-Crunchy" snack mix. I sometimes make it myself, but it's more special to receive it from Grandma, you know? It is great for gift giving in a nice air-tight plastic container. Great to put out for a sweet snack, any time of the year! Note: I have added a little salt to the recipe as a personal preference. If you want to leave it out as the original recipe calls for, you can do so. Enjoy!

    Recipe #141807

A very easy way to make snack mix. If desired, reduce the cereals to 3 cups each and add 3 cups of corn chips.

    Recipe #180205

The only trick to this recipe is finding a big enough container in which to mix the treats. Most of these ingredients are available in a variety of weights and sizes..Don't worry if you can not find the exact amount given.

    Recipe #130585

Submitted by request..sounds too easy, quick and good to pass up !!

    Recipe #52212

This is a huge favorite at my get togethers, it's the perfect spread with crackers, it's easy to put together just layer and serve. It can be prepared hours in advance and refrigerated until serving time. Once your guests try this everyone will want the recipe it's *that* good!--- 2 cups fresh cooked baby shrimp can be used in place of the canned, but canned is much easier, you will love this! :)

Elegant appetizer or snack. So very easy to make, just mix and bake! Also makes a yummy dip instead of a spread. From Cooking Light Magazine so it is keeping with my New Years resolution to eat healthier! (2 bread slices with 2 tablespoons spread = 1 portion)

I read about this on slashfood.com, one of my favorite food blogs. It was offered up as a good dip for the Superbowl, but I can vouch that it's good even for those of us who don't watch the game. I had to try this out and it was a success, served as an appetizer with Moroccan cigars (you don't smoke them, you eat them, silly) and lots of fresh pita.

A great party starter is this appetizer very flexible you can use navy beans or Great Northerns. Optional ingredients may include sun dried tomatoes, toasted nuts, black or green olive. This would be great for a sandwich spread!

    Recipe #140369

This is a staple in my apartment. I wash and reuse the dish I make it with more than any other dish in my apartment, I think. I picked up a liking for feta while in Greece during the summer of 2006. Don't be too heavy-handed with the onion powder, though. I like onion, but not so that it overpowers the feta. Great with a hearty bread and makes a good sandwich spread as well.

    Recipe #211881

This is another delicious appetizer from the cookbook "Culinary Masterpieces from the Birmingham Museum of Art". I love this served with shrimp.

    Recipe #119502

Here's a great recipe for crackers to use at Christmas. I've made this several ways, instead of just hamburger I've used a combination of ground deer and ground beef or ground moose and beef. You could probably use any combination of meat but I suggest adding a non-lean ground meat such as beef or pork because you don't want it to be too dry. I have cooked this on the second day and it's pretty much the same as the fourth day but you should let it sit for a minimum of 24 hours with at least one good mix during that time.

    Recipe #193932

This hummus is so good on warm pita triangles or even with cucumbers, radishes, carrots and/or green onions. The combination of ingredients really makes this hummus bi tahini a truly wonderful Mediterranean dish. I may never eat plain hummus again. This recipe was inspired and created for RSC #7.
