You can make the packets ahead of time to take for for camping :)

I got this recipe from one of those grocery store cookbooks (Betty Crocker) I think. If you are a butternut squash fan...this one is for you!

Recipe #36033

Prepare these up to 48 hours in advance and take along to cook on the grill, the amounts stated are enough for 8 packets you may reduce the recipe if desired, of coarse these may also be made to grill at home also, this is great served over rice :)

Recipe #232252

This recipe is total simplicity -- lightly smoked potatoes, perfumed with rosemary and olive oil.

Recipe #225432

Quick, Cheap and Easy. My favorite three words. When you can't think of anything to have for dinner, these are always a hit and very versatile. You can make them ahead of time, make more than you need and have lunch for the next day.

Recipe #232577

This is a dinner in a packet, very easy to make and no clean up. SBD Phase 2.

These are very tasty and super easy to make. You can make the packets the night before and keep refrigerated for a few days. All you need to do is throw them on the grill when you’re ready to cook them (great for busy days when you don’t have time to make dinner).

Recipe #248046

Adapted from Taste of Home's "Light and Tasty" publication, originally submitted by Sharon of Lakeport, CA. I have not tried this yet, but it looked tasty and healthy!

Recipe #241702

Easy, no-mess sweet potatoes that kids and adults both love.

Recipe #145416

I clipped this from the back of my bacon package. It sounds like it would be a great side with grilled chicken, fish or steak. I can't wait until it stops raining so I can fire up the grill!

I saw the rave reviews for a simple, delicious tomato sandwich on Zaar, so I thought, well, the great cooks of Zaar might laugh at this one, it's real folksy food, but when we have a braai (barbecue) here in South Africa, we must have these ... This recipe means 1 sandwich per person for 4 people. Lemme warn you: double the recipe! ** Postscript to a reviewer who does not accept zaar-mail: Dear Chef 184530: Do on no account wrap in anything -- grill, open, over coals or under grill.

Recipe #116058

This is adapted from a "Taste of Home Light and Tasty" published recipe. The original called for fresh dill but I never have it on hand. Try using some lemon with this too! Goes good with brown rice or mashed potatoes.

Recipe #225415

This chicken is so tasty and easy to fix. I always add extra pineapples for my youngest grand daughter. She is such a picky eater but she will eat 2 large servings of the S & S Chicken and rice.

Recipe #231144

I like the ease of packet cooking, but I'm not crazy about any of the recipes on the aluminum foil site, so I cobbled together my own. The zucchini absorbs so much of the citrus flavor -- it's wonderful! I serve this over rice prepared with a pinch of saffron, which absorbs the leftover citrus juice.

A simple grill recipe, different from other traditional grill meals. From Betty Crocker I think (someone passed it along to me).

Recipe #305416

Here's a recipe I modified from one of those Reynolds foil ads. It's quick and healthy. Whatever you do (unless you know you don't like it!), don't leave out the fresh ginger. To me, it makes the recipe! Add brown or white rice, soy sauce for a condiment, and you have a meal!

Recipe #17982

This meal is prepared in a foil packet which is easy to prepare and clean up.

Recipe #64010

I have been making these for years, it's a family favorite! all ingredients are wrapped in a foil pouch then grilled for about 30-40 minutes, add in some cooked cubed ham for a complete meal, you could even make the packets well in advance then refrigerate until ready to grill :) Make certain to use only large heavy-duty foil for this and spray the inside of the foil generously!
