From Delicious Living magazine. Quickly made in the microwave from leftover rice and chicken.

    Recipe #209177

Another recipe from Light & Tasty. This one is so easy and delicious and healthy! It would be very good for low-carbers too. I have made this with different kinds of olives, and just green olives when I didn't have any others. It's good any way!

    Recipe #190904

Great for those days when you stagger home from work and need dinner on the table fifteen minutes ago. So simple I'm a little embarrassed to call it a recipe. Tasty AND low fat.

Kall me the Kielbasa Kween! My Polish genes are responsible for my love of Polish sausage.

    Recipe #38301

One pot--so simple! My MIL, who is from the Dominican Republic, has ALWAYS made this. Every since the very first time she made it for me, it has been my FAVORITE dish. Even my kids, ages 12 & 5 and are incredibly picky, will eat this meal. We usually make it with a side salad and fried Plantains like in Recipe #187281. Oh and the house smells incredible while this is cooking!

    Recipe #196902

This is great for people always on the go like me. I love rice so i put this together one day. These are all easy on-hand ingredients. The cheese and the fixin's is what makes this recipe! Also gluten-free!

    Recipe #195654

I found Egyptian pasta at a health food store and didn't know what to do with it. I found a recipe for Egyptian rice and added sour cream and garlic and what do you know? Stroganoff! Tastes good. It would probably work with any type of rice or risotto.

By marinading and then grilling the chicken and the veggies, this dish has a wonderful grilled flavor served over pasta, its a filling meal. It is also great served cold. Make sure to not cut the veggies too thin so they dont slip thru the grill grates. I have also done this inside on the foreman type grill.

Quick cooking chicken stew, wonderfully fragrant with Moroccan spices. Serve over couscous for an authentic meal. from Heart Healthy Cooking by Becel

    Recipe #38221

Our son always loved this recipe. He never knew it was made with you-know-what, FAKE crab, until after he worked on a crab boat a few years ago! Of course, you can always use real crab. It's easy to put together and with a salad it makes a nice meal. I always make it with lowfat sour cream, lowfat soup, and I just use butter flavored cooking spray to replace the butter. When done this way it cuts out almost all the fat, and it's still good.

    Recipe #198660

A fun, easy way to use St. Patrick's leftovers.

    Recipe #217335

This is quick easy recipe start to finish 30 minutes. You may also make ahead reheating just before dinner. If you prefer substiture Beef, pork or lamb for the chicken . The condiments make this dish very attractive to serve. I use the entire package of Glico making the curry medium hot but test as you add the cubes I tend to like spice.. It does look a bit like a Sundae with all the condiments on it. There ae many other condiments that you can serve - raisins, chopped apple, fresh peach etc..Serve with whole wheat Chapatis or whole wheat tortillas. I usually allow 2 per person.. Cook more rice than suggested if you are serving to large appetites

    Recipe #120254

I make this a lot. Ours is a different variation and simpler. I put peas in mine; the boys leave them out, lol. My sister said I was not remembering that Mom used corn instead of peas. I checked and, yes, the heifer was right, grrr, lol, so you can put corn in too.

    Recipe #105629

This is the genuine article, an Oaxacan specialty. Not to be called pizza. Better than the sum of its parts, the texture is key. I served with a Louisiana hot sauce, you may want to serve with salsa if you are not into things too hot. Other beans would also work well with this. As published in the NY Times. By Mark Bittman, the Minimalist.

    Recipe #183636

I found this recipe online somewhere a few years ago and adapted it to suit our tastes. It's a delicious alternative to traditional beef stroganoff, with its creamy sauce full of tender chicken and delicious artichoke hearts! It also can be cooked and then transferred to a crockpot to keep hot for a few hours. I wouldn't keep it in the crockpot more than 2-4 hours, though, or the chicken might get too dry. Times are estimates.

    Recipe #200592

Adapted from Taste of Home's "Light and Tasty" publication, originally submitted by Sharon of Lakeport, CA. I have not tried this yet, but it looked tasty and healthy!

    Recipe #241702

This was a quick little invention when I didn't have much on hand. My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy...I try to sneak in veggies where I can. This hit the spot for both of us.

    Recipe #137759

I made this to satisfy a craving and decided it was worth sharing

    Recipe #214186

Having grown up with these, I didn't realize that most folks have never heard of a wet burrito. It is a meat and bean (or all meat or all bean) burrito with a spicy gravy and cheese on top. They are available here in many restaurants, and no self respecting bar would be without one on the menu, lol! Once you try them, you'll never go back to "dry" burritos again! Don't let the long list of directions scare you, these are easy!
