Often in life, the simplest things are best. It is certainly true with some dishes. This quick and easy to make chicken is one of those dishes, very satisfying. My husband loves his comfort food, so I serve this tasty dish with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans.

With just a slight difference, this recipe comes from Taste of Home Best Ever Chicken Cookbook 2009!

    Recipe #364990

from ww message boards NOTE: if you have a newer crockpot, i would only cook for about 4 1/2 -5 hours otherwise you will end up with dry chicken and a mushy mess. this does have a great flavor though, just try not to overcook it. :)

From Taste of Home. Tangy dipping sauce perfectly complements these crisp, golden bites of chicken!

    Recipe #357676

Southern Living: a simple homey casserole my kids like.

I saw the asparagus in the produce section today and decided to come up with a recipe for dinner tonight. This is what I came up with - both DH and myslef loved it. Easy enough for any day, but "fancy" enough for a dinner party. I served these with fingerling potatoes roasted with olive oil and rosemary.

    Recipe #336964

This is a simple recipe for two, but I have doubled it to serve four. It is from Paula Deen's magazine.

    Recipe #335299

I found this recipe on Tastefully Simple's website. I'm posting it here to save it. It uses their Onion Onion seasoning but Recipezaar didn't recognize that ingredient so I had to list it as dehydrated onion.

This is such a great weeknight dinner and it tastes amazing!!! The mixture of chicken, fresh tomatoes, broccoli and italian dressing makes for a delicious dinner the whole family will love. You of course can make it with any vegetable on hand-I've even made it without the cheddar cheese and the taste is still great!!

I recently purchased the new Hungry Girl Cookbook and this is one of the recipes that I really want to try. It uses ground Fiber One Cereal to make the "breading." Here is what the book says: " Trust me, these chicken strips will quickly become a staple in your diet. (The serving size is huge, so feel free to save some for later!)."

I like Chicken Cordon Bleu... but not as much as it likes to stick to my stomach, rear, and legs. I've created this healthier version to serve instead, and my family really enjoys it. I hope you do too!

    Recipe #314052

I love this dish! Not too spicy-not too mild! Very easy dish for 2 to put together.

    Recipe #296422

A lightly curried sweet way to cook chicken when you don't want to stand over the stove. I don't remember where I got this from. I like using breasts but use whatever you like. I also like skinning the chicken to cut down on the fat.

    Recipe #293127

This is from a great recipe I found on here, only I modified it to be healthier.

    Recipe #291264

This came from Light and Tasty magazine. I have not tried it yet but thought it sounded good.

    Recipe #280433

My children love these wings. I like that they cook in the crock pot!

    Recipe #277167

This recipe came out of the Oregonian from Portland, Oregon by Hall Street Bar & Grill in Beaverton. When I made this I left out the cayenne pepper in both places. It was too spicy for me.

    Recipe #262816

Adaptation from Rachel Ray--really good. I added garlic to mine because to me nothing can be made without garlic =)

    Recipe #255887

This is another great Jalapeno Chicken recipe by Weight Watchers. It's out of the 2000 "Day by Day" cookbook. It has 3 points per serving. I have done both blender and fine chopping and they are both great. I find the extra bits and pieces by chopping instead of blending adds a great crunch to the dish and makes it look outstanding. Hope you enjoy and happy eating!

    Recipe #249502

This is much easier way of getting that great chicken corbon bleu flavor without all the work!
