This recipe may be doubled but cooking time will need to be increased, adjust the brown sugar to taste, my family loves this!

    Recipe #252641

This recipe came from the Barefoot Contessa and I have made it several times. It's very creamy and satisfying. If you are going to make it with the fresh banana slices, you must eat it the same day. I always use 1% milk, because I never have whole milk on hand. The stir-ins, fruits, nuts, are flexible, whatever you like, and whatever you have on hand.

    Recipe #301008

This tastes like an oatmeal cookie in a bowl... only this is much healthier for you! From Ellie Krieger and the food network. You can make this in advanced and store in individual containers in the refrigerator and then pull them out and microwave as needed. (Just make sure to store walnuts separately.

    Recipe #303490

A nutritious and delicious way to start the morning, this oatmeal offers calcium, vitamin E, fiber, magnesium and potassium

    Recipe #334234

This is a delicious way to start the day. This is a low GI recipe so great for those trying to eat healthy or for diabetics. I love to use braeburn apples but you can use any baking apple you like.

    Recipe #252497

A very nice change to the standard cinnamon oatmeal. The original recipe called for walnuts but I enjoy almonds instead. Ready in 15 minutes!

I got this from a small lodge in Colorado on vacation; they served this every morning for breakfast with fresh fruit and vanilla yogurt. It's sweet, warm and sticks to your bones. Delicious!

You know the story. You go to the store and buy that variety pack of instant oatmeal. The kids get their favorite flavor and you're stuck with the bag of regular. ICK Here is a way you can jazz up that bag of regular instant oatmeal.

A delicious twist on plain old oatmeal. Flavorful and hearty to please everyone in the family! Whole, old-fashioned oats are used.

This was a bit of an experiment this morning when I fancied something different for breakfast and didn't know what. It's just a bit of a twist on porridge really!

    Recipe #238238

One of my favorite breakfasts. I invented this version, but my Mom deserves some credit for it too. It can be mixed the night before, and refrigerated in a covered bowl/microwave safe container. In the morning all you have to do is microwave it and mix in the peanut butter.
