The original recipe for this was called "Champagne Salad". I changed it because I leave out the bananas and pecans as my kids don't care for them. If you wish to include them, add 2 diced bananas and 1 cup chopped pecans. I place this in cupcake liners (the foil kind) and freeze on a cookie sheet until solid and then place in a freezer bag. This makes portioning easy. The title says salad but this is realy more of a dessert.

The ultimate mall fruity shake at home! I modified this recipe one day from one i found online. I have sensitive teeth so I don't like ice much anyway. Guaranteed not to give you "slushie headache".

    Recipe #24088

Almost as good as take out! Prep time does not include the time to marinade the meat.

These are really close to the real thing. My family was in heaven! They're great for dinner, football parties, or kid's birthday parties. I'm not real fond of White Castle myself but I gobbled these up. Note: To freeze: Assemble hamburgers less the condiments. Flash freeze, wrap in plastic wrap, put in a ziplock bag and label. To heat: Microwave until heated through.

One of the easiest ways to save money on your family's grocery bill is by purchasing foods in bulk when they go on sale. When ground meat goes on sale, rather than just stocking up to store in the freezer "as is," many cooks find it helpful to prepare meat mixes for using later in their favorite family recipes. By preparing this recipe for All-Purpose Ground Meat Mix, you'll be ready to fix any number of tasty ground meat recipes without needing to brown the meat, onions and spices each time you cook. Not only will this technique save you money, it saves time too. The following recipe is from the book "Frozen Assets: How to Cook for a Day and Eat for a Month"

This is my stock recipe for my personal pan sized pizzas which are about 6-7 inches in diameter. Each batch of dough makes 4 pizzas. The crust on these is crunchy, we don't like the thick pan style pizza here. Also, the thicker crusts don't bake up as well because the centers just don't heat as fast due to density. I make these 3 styles, Cheese, Pepperoni and 3 meat (pepperoni, Italian sausage and bacon crumbles which I buy at Sam's Club prepackaged). I think you'll like these, I get tons of orders for them. OH BUY SOME 8" CARDBOARD CAKE ROUNDS (available at most craft stores, and Walmart in the craft dept.) The pizzas need a hard surface to freeze on. So much better than store bought, you'll never go back.

    Teriyaki Pork Chops or Chicken

    Recipe #8609

There are several recipes on 'Zaar that feature the combination of sweet peaches with pork chops, roasts or tenderloins. This one is unique not only in its spices but in its preparation. A featured entree from Dream Dinners, the franchise that helps families prepare make-ahead meals, this dish recently appeared in Family Circle magazine. I've trying these without freeze and they were wonderful and saucy without being too sweet. I added a pinch of ground ginger to mine and will most likely add a wee bit of extra onion, but not so much as to change the balance of sweet and savory flavors. Have some additional bags assembled but have not yet defrosted and cooked. If you are making these fresh you can skip the bagging, frezing and defrosting steps (1-2). (279 cal/14 g fat/2 g fiber)

This may not be what some people would consider as "Goulash" but it is the name my mom gave this when I was a child. Delicious and brings back wonderful memories. Hope you enjoy it too.

Great for potlucks! You can even make these in mini muffin tins to make them kid-sized! Use your favourite pizza toppings for the filling. For another savoury tart recipe try Cheeseburger Tarts recipe#60239. These freeze well.

    Recipe #168301

I got this basic recipe from another site but changed it a little for my family. The original recipe called for orange juice as the liquid instead of milk. I also added the vanilla as we think it gives it a nice flavor.

    Recipe #125399

Asian grilled chicken thighs basted with a sweet, sticky sesame sauce, these "legs" are Mmm.. Mmm.. good! Taking a cue from those master chefs the Podleski sisters, I have compiled a collection of taste sensations starting with this one. And guess what else? It's low fat! (Overnight marinade time is not included in prep time).

This is from a OAMC website. These are delicious and my kids LOVE these in their lunchboxes. I put them in frozen in the morning and they thaw nicely by lunchtime. Note: I have experimented with reducing the sugar in this recipe and find it works very well. I usually make a double batch and only added 1/3 cup sugar instead of 1 cup. They came out perfect - just the right amount of sweetness.

Similar recipes to this are out there, but its such a favorite of mine I just wanted to post it. I never got this from any specific recipe, just cleaned out the fridge on day with things that sounded good. You can add anything to this, but I find it helpful to get a few different types of sausage. I'm not sure just how long this takes as its slightly different every time depending on what I have in the fridge. My husband and I get about 2 meals out of this. Dinner and lunch the next day. It depends if we eat it with something else like salad or bread or just on its own, and how hungry we are. It will freeze as well.

I know there are many fried rice recipes, but here is my own version of a favorite quick OAMC lunch and dinner we all enjoy. I hope you do too! To make it OAMC just portion out one cup of mix into freezer bags, thaw in the microwave for about 2 minutes, then stir fry in some oil for about another 3 minutes to get that "Fried" taste and texture. This recipe makes a TON!

    Recipe #174440

My kids are not overly fond of ground beef and this recipe is a creative way to make lasagna without it. I will usually make 2 lasagne at one time and freeze the other one for a quick meal at a later date.

    Recipe #57623

This is a recipe I found online and adapted to suit my family's taste. You can use either Chorizo or regular bulk breakfast sausage, depending on your tastes. They're both good. If you like spicy foods, add a 4 oz can of chopped and drain green chilies.

If you like Italian Sausage....You'll love these hogies!!!

    Recipe #80034

I found this recipe this week in my new Food Everyday Magazine....I doubled it (which is the recipe below) so I could freeze enough for tacos, burritos, taco salads and taco soup!!

    Recipe #122735

Got this recipe from my weight watchers news letter. The points value is 9. Cut the cooking time by buying pre-cooked chicken.
