Just unveiled at the Thanksgiving Day parade. Chef Marcel Cocit offers an easy holiday Crescent recipe bursting with bold, savory flavors. Great for any holiday!

    Recipe #402260

Grinding the oats and almonds makes this more kid friendly! A cross between granola bars and Rice Krispies treats! Adapted from Sneaky Chef cookbook.

    Recipe #401296

Taken from Judy Rosenberg's Rosie's All Butter Fresh Cream Sugar Packed Baking Book! These cookies will melt in your mouth and are perfect for all occasions! A favorite at Rosie's Bakery! Enjoy! These cookies need to chill about 4 hours.

    Recipe #400718

This is a quick and easy cheese and nut appetizer! If you don't have time to chill the mixute so it can be rolled into balls, serve it as a dip, garnished with nuts and additional chutney! Adapted from Rachael Ray's Big Orange Book.

    Recipe #400253

This recipe came from Trisha Yearwood, who married Garth Brooks and wrote a cookbook called Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma kitchen with a forward by Garth Brooks himself! Gotta try these! :) Be sure to use paper liners in the muffin tins and spray them with nonstick spray; otherwise, they will crumble when you peel off the liners. This recipe also makes great mini muffins; just shorten the baking time by 5 minutes. You might also try using oat flour instead of all purpose for a healthier muffin.

    Recipe #398780

These cookies are sold at The Golden Pear, a specialty foods and coffee shop just blocks away from the most elite seacoast real estate in Southampton, New York. The cookies were featured in Chocoaltier magazine, and editor in chief Barbara Albright was on "Live" on the Kathy and Regis show to demonstrate this chocolaty treat. It ended up in Cooking with Regis and Kathy Lee Cookbook and now here it is for you!

    Recipe #390189

This is an extremely good and rich bread, absoutely yummy fresh from the oven but it is great chilled from the refrigerator or heated with melted butter. It can be frozen too. I make mini loaves to give as great gifts! Adapted from Mike Dolan who posted it on recipelinks and I changed it to make it my own. It would even be good with chocolate chips added! :) Makes 2 regular loaves or 4 mini loaves. Enjoy! To make the bread even healthier, try substituting 1/2 of the oil with applesauce.

    Recipe #385375

Adapted from the Culinary Institute of America. Here's what they say,"As rich as a slice of pecan pie, pecan diamonds are bite-sized treasures that resemble more of a confection than a bar cookie. As the holiday season approaches, you can now create The Culinary Institute of America's renowned pecan diamonds that are sold exclusively at the college's Apple Pie Bakery Café in Hyde Park, New York." Oh yum! A candy thermometer will be helpful in this recipe.

    Recipe #385153

If you've always thought beans were boring, try this super recipe flavored with almonds. The beans are served over couscous, a grain popular in Africa. I thought this was okay the first day, but the next day, I couldn't keep away from it! The first time I made it, I didn't make the couscous. You can make this in a crockpot too. Just check the water occasionally. Adapted from Shoshoni Cookbook: Vegetarian Recipes from the Shoshoni Yoga Retreat by Anne Saks and Faith Stone(via Delicious Living magazine).

    Recipe #384494

From the Micheff Sisters “Easy Entrees”-they make some mighty good food, all vegetarian!

    Recipe #380127

Tacos filled with a delicious, rich "cheeze" made of cashews and cilantro, topped with crumbled nut "meat"! The cheeze keeps for 3-4 days in the fridge and the nut meat for up to a week. You may also scoop the cashew mixture on top of a salad, or serve as a dip with sliced carrots and cucumbers! The walnut mix is also good sprinkled over salad or soup! Great raw food! Adapted from Delicious Living magazine.

    Recipe #380053

An adaptation of Heidi Swanson's Big Sur Power Bars from her cookbook, 101 Cookbooks, this is easily changed around to suit your tastes! I love Big Sur so had to post this! These bars are soft set, prone to falling apart and are fairly sticky and gooey too. All adds to their deliciousness. :)

    Recipe #379186

This is so good and has gotten lots of great comments on Heidi Swanson's food blog. She threw this together one night and it was a hit! If you can't handle Brussels Sprouts, try cabbage, spinach, broccoli(cut up real small), or bok choy. I have changed this just a bit.

    Recipe #378954

Recipe from Heidi Swanson. She has some great recipes!

    Recipe #378801

Tiny green florets, crisp apples, crunchy shallots, candied nuts and slivered red onions are tossed in a barely sweet, creamy almond vinaigrette. Find the freshest broccoli you can and be sure not to overcook them, you just want to blanch them quickly. A wonderful mix of crunch and color! You can make the components ahead of time, but don't dress the salad until you are ready to serve it; preserving the various crunches. Adapted from 101 Cookbooks.

    Recipe #377249

Submitted by Lillian Julow, from Gainesville, FL, a 2009 Finalist in the Chicken Cooking Contest, put on by the National Chicken Council. Enjoy!

    Recipe #376865

I adore chocolate bark, especially when it has good dark chocolate! This recipe came from Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa show. I have changed a few things around. Enjoy! :D

    Recipe #374286

Chocolate biscotti with a creamy chocolate topping! If you can't find hazelnuts, other nuts can be used, such as pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, even cashews! Adapted from BH&G magazine.

    Recipe #367296

What a great presentation this makes! Pineapple boats filled with a medley of rice and vegetables with a yummy sauce, topped with roasted peanuts! Adapted from The Nut Gourmet by Zed Allen.

    Recipe #367272

A favorite combo of flavors, these muffins resemble crumb cakes when made with streusel. The topping makes alot so you can use more for later or cut the topping in half. Update: I have made a few changes to make this even better!(Thanks Realtor!)
