Found on line by Barbara, of Alma Del Sol. She has proven so very effective that she wants to get the word out. I haven't tried it yet but I'm on my way to buy the ingredients. I changed the calculations so it can be printed here on zaar. Barbara if you see it's wrong please by all means correct me!

Enjoy the fragrance and scrub away at those pots and pans! This will lift your spirits while washing the dishes! Not suited for automatic dishwashers. Thank you, Auntie Karen(Chef Yogi) for this recipe in my gift box!

If you check the dangers of fabric softener you will appericate this simple recipe that is much safer.

    Recipe #355877

This weed killer is non-discriminatory....it kills what it is sprayed on, so be careful where you spray it. The good thing about this is that it is easy to make and very economical. Make sure you label it and store it out of the hands of inquisitive children. If you spray this multiple times in the same spot, nothing will grow there for a very long time....perfect for cracks in your driveway and in sidewalks.

My wonderful Auntie Karen(Chef Yogi) has been so generous and kind to me. She sent me over half a dozen awesome essential oils which is something I have been wanting for so many months!! She sent me this wonderful easy recipe that was listed on www.make-stuff.com I have just finished making this and using it in my horribly dirty sink and now, I have the most clean and glowing sink I have ever seen in my kitchen! Nobody would believe I haven't used even a little Vim or Jif tonight to clean my sink if they saw it. Something so easy as this, and using just 4 ingredients is a true winner and a sure keeper in my book. Hope this will make you as happy as it made me! I am going to use this as long as these oils last!;) In my opinion, this would make a nice gift to give a would-be bride or your best friend for that matter or your neighbour or mom or MIL. Whoever you gift this to, is going to love you for it! ENJOY!

These chewy oatmeal cookies are packed with the refreshing flavors of orange and lemon, plus dates, raisins and coconut. When our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren ask me to make "Grandpa's Cookies", these are the ones they're referring to.

    This is so easy.

If you wash your dog(s) half as often as we do, then you still spend a fortune on dog shampoo. I found this recipe on a couple of different websites... I just tried it out on our dogs and it worked great (of course that's just my opinion, you'd have to ask the dogs for the definitive answer).

A former hairsylist turned me on to this secret for a cleansing shampoo for color-treated hair. Commercial cleansing shampoos are made to throughly cleanse your hair (ie remove all product build-up), but they also strip color. This homemade version helps to prevent stripping of color, but also throughly cleanses your hair. It is also much cheaper and can be made with products already in your home. I love it and use it once per week!

Is your laundry looking dingy? Are you seeing spots before your eyes? To keep your washer spotlessly clean, it is important to remember to give it a once over every six months, or every three months if you have hard water. Is your Dish Washer dingy? This is easy and effective. It comes from Rima Soni's Trouble Shooter column from the Weekend magazine dated March 18th'2005.

WOW! No streaks, no smears, no buffing. This will clean ceramic tile counter tops, windows and their vinyl casings, SS appliances, sealed wood AND it removes hairspray from mirrors. So far that's all I've tried it on, as I came up with this recipe just this morning. I've been a cleaning fool today, experimenting on everything. I love it...Let me know what you think.

This makes an excellent gift. Make sure you make some for yourself too though because it really smells wonderful. Please note, you need to use whole cloves. Ground cloves are much stronger and will definitely overwhelm the other scents. If you aren't a fan of cloves, feel free to leave them out entirely. I do sometimes.

Don't throw away your foam soap dispenser or spend extra on the refills when you run out. It's easy to make your own! This also works with shampoo.

    Recipe #103893

Environmentally friendly, no harsh chemicals! We tried the expensive cleaners and found our floors still looked streaky and dull. This homemade cleaner makes them look bright, streak free and beautiful!

I just switched to stainless steel cookware this year. I've had several instances where I get food bonded to the bottom of a pan. One day my Mother was visiting and I was complaining about it. She said, "cream of tartar". I said, "huh"? She said it just popped into her head that my Great Grandmother used to say to sprinkle cream of tartar in a hard to clean stainless steel pan put some water in it and boil it until the crud comes off. Guess what? It works everytime! *This is my favorite posting because it has helped so many people...and apparently it works on more than stainless steel. :)
