You can cook these under the broiler. For variation, try marinating shrimp, (which will take 2-4 minutes to grill or broil in all!) Serve with fresh salad, steamed veggies, baked potato or any of your favorite sides.
Tip: Bake for 20 minutes, remove and place strips of aluminum foil, or a pie crust shield around the crust to prevent overbrowning, and continue baking.
Top with whipped cream or even better vanilla ice cream.
This is my attempt to recreate the cheeseburger soup that was featured on Diners, Drive-inns & Dives. I hope I did the soup justice.
Tip: Kraft has discontinued their 1 pound box (the blue box) of Deluxe American Cheese, so either you can use Kraft Deli Deluxe, American Cheese 24 slices equals 1 pound. Or ask your local deli for a pound of American cheese.
This was given to me by my friend Sheila. Great recipe for a meatless Monday or if you’re a vegetarian. This is one recipe you need to try. Also this recipeis such a versatile. Add shredded chicken more vegetables, like broccoli, pinto beans, kidney beans or black beans would be great. A good base recipe to make your own. Hope you enjoy!!
Make croquets bite size and serve with sour cream mixture for a appetizer. Mix sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon of the seasoned salt and pepper in small bowl until well blended. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Also you can make with black beans.
