Watched this on TV last night and looked so simple and glorious once it had been cooked - I had to post it! Hope to try this one out in the not so distant future, went down really well at Nigella's table!
I got this recipe from Nigella Bites- the show. Loved it from the very first time I made it. The good thing about this recipe is that it also has a vegetarian version so no one misses out on the taste.
This very unusual salad is very pretty and unique. This may not be for everyone's taste buds, but is a pleasant change from the norm. I saw this prepared on the tv program "Nigella Bites." It would go well with Meditteranean or Middle Eastern style dishes and is a nice compliment to grilled chicken or fish. Be sure to only use fresh ingredients. I don't serve this as a side salad on its own, but rather, as a bed for salmon or other fish.
We had these yummy potatoes for Easter after hearing the recipe on the radio. It comes from Nigella's book "Feast: Food to Celebrate Life". We were all afraid they would be overpowering because the whole house smelled like garlic, but they were wonderful - crispy and brown with a lovely roasted garlic flavor!
A colleague treated us to these Nigella Lawson cup cakes at her farewell morning tea. I was transported back to my sixth birthday party! They're also perfect for a "grown up's" afternoon tea party too.
I made these last night, and they are absolutely sinful. I've never made a batch of brownies with so much chocolate. I think her cooking time is a little on the short side, so opt for close to 40 minutes.
