This is something we came up with after trying to find a drink that used pomegranate juice. We used pomegranate juice that was flavored with cherries. The measurements we used were with a 1.5 ounce shot glass - 1.5 ounces is equivalent to 3 Tablespoons. The sugar on the rim gives it a pleasant sweetness that smooths the martini. Based on a martini recipe from an Iraqi restaurant.Enjoy!

    Recipe #161964

Adding this smoothie that is made with fresh pineapple and pineapple juice to your diet will give your body a healthy boost. Pineapples are high in the enzyme bromelain and the antioxidant vitamin C, both of which plays a role in aiding the body's healing process. So if you desire a natural means to boost your body's healing mechanisms, encourage overall good health and tantalize your taste buds, pineapples are definitely the way to go. The anti-inflammatory properties also makes this great for those suffering from arthritis or stiffness. Choose fresh fruit over canned because most of the bromelain in canned pineapple is destroyed due to the heat used in the canning process. Try to use organic fruits when possible - they really have the best flavors!

Enjoy this delicious and healthy smoothie which will add much needed Zinc, Potassium and Vitamin C to your body. Zinc plays a strong role in a healthy immune system and is needed for wound healing and to help maintain your sense of taste and smell. It is also needed for DNA synthesis. The kids will enjoy this cool immune boosting drink as much as you do! Use organic ingredients when possible in your smoothies. Enjoy!

I love this creamy mango protein shake recipe! It is so easy to make and perfect for a healthy breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. The health benefits of mangoes also make this an attractive breakfast option. Mangoes are rich in fat-soluble antioxidants called carotenoids, which are beneficial for individuals with angina, high cholesterol, heart disease and acne. This low-sodium smoothie is also a wonderful source of vitamin C and potassium. Enjoy! Try to use organic ingredients if possible for the best taste and a healthier smoothie.

    Recipe #162121

This delicious smoothie is a great way to start your day and is a great breakfast option for people on-the-go. High in fiber, potassium and antioxidants this low sodium smoothie is perfect for the healthy heart-conscious consumer. This delicious combination is beneficial for individuals with high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol, and is also a great preventative to breast cancer. Use organic products when possible for the best taste and healthier smoothie. Enjoy!

This clever take on the Manhattan is a perfect adult dessert. For the best tasting float use a premium black cherry soda like Stewart's or IBC as opposed to store brands. Cook time is freeze time. This recipe was inspired by Gabriel Frasca of Spire in Boston.

This a pretty layered shot using Absinthe, Bailey's and Kahlua. It was pretty smooth and the absinthe has a surprisingly light liquorice finish. Pour liquor on an upside down spoon over glass to keep the liquors separated.

    Recipe #162638

I love the flavor of rose water in drinks and these drinks remind me of old southern garden parties. The rose pedal garnish also make them romantic... give it a try. Great for Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, and dates. This has a noticeable flower taste.

    Recipe #163100

When I was a bartender people always commented that I made the best mixed drinks. One of my requested mixed drinks was my version of the Amaretto Sour. My “secret” was the addition of 7-Up which I think gave the drink a gentle fizz that broke up the syrupy sweetness of the drink. I usually made my own sour mix, which was nothing more then Country Time Lemonade (another “secret”) or would mix lemon juice with some granulated sugar -- and shake vigorously. You can also use store bought sour mix.

Martinis are in! The key to an excellent martini is to ensure that it is ice cold. The classic martini has only two ingredients--so it's important to use the best ingredients you can afford. Vermouth should be stored in the refrigerator to retain its flavor. Energetic shaking with ice coupled with some flair is vital for a smooth/silky result. Stirring produces a crystal-clear martini but it will never get as cold as a shaken martini. This is also called an "in and out martini" or "spitting the vermouth." It results in a well balanced martini every time.

I love Cantaloupe Martinis! Most bars make it with orange juice but I have made it with pureed cantaloupe and it really makes a big difference. Use premium quality vodka for the best martini. Enjoy!

    Recipe #163968

I found this delicious recipe on a bag of pearled onions. It is fabulously rich and easy and a total crowd pleaser! I added about 3/4 of a cup of chopped cooked ham to the recipe (along with the cream) with fantastic results. I plan on trying it with left over grilled chicken as well.

    Recipe #151495

This is a delicious sweet cordial using cognac (or brandy) and virtually any kind of berry can be used. This was posted in response to a forum request. Cognac VS should work well with this recipe.

    Recipe #157599

This is not the usual blender Strawberry Lemonade, but a well worth recipe for a refreshing beverage that will make your guests think they are hanging with Martha herself....you will make this again and again! DELICIOUS!

    Recipe #148790

Probably no mixed drink recipe has been as mistreated by bartenders as this one. This is a delicious adaptation of the original Singapore Sling recipe from Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Use the highest quality liquor available.

    Recipe #149661

This decadent recipe is by Christophe Côte, Les Fermes de Marie's chef in the fashionable French town of Megève. Perfect to serve to guests after Christmas dinner on a cold winter night!
