We have this the morning after we have grilled bratwurst. I boil my brats in beer, green bell pepper slices, and onion slices before grilling. The left over brats, peppers, and onions are great in a scramble (especially if you had too many beers the night before). :)

This sandwich features portobello mushrooms, roast beef and provolone cheese. It is very easy to make and very tasty. The recipe is from Simple and Delicious.

This has been my 24 year old son's favorite and most requested cake since he was about 10 - he is a butterscotch lover. It is really good - make sure you get the bottom/topping - it's what makes the cake! Being from Texas, I usually use pecans instead of walnuts. NOTE: If you want to use an electric mixer, be careful to not overbeat the cake.

Not for those on a diet, but a calorie filled lasagna thats a slice of heaven. My neighbour served this to me during the holidays and I asked her for the recipe. Some one notified me that this is a recipe from 2007 Chatalaine Magazine.

    Recipe #289283

This delicious recipe came from the National Pasta Assoc's Top 10 favorites. I think it's a real winner.

    Recipe #137544

I created this recipe because it is the number choice for my kids at the local ice cream shop! It's closed all winter so this is a good way to get us through til the summer!

    Recipe #295736

These appetizers can be made ahead. Prepare, cover and refrigerate up to 1 hour. You can also use smoked turkey or ham instead of the roast beef and cheddar cheese in place of the Swiss.

    Recipe #227351

We have a pumpkin recipe contest every year at our church. This was the winner last year...it's awesome...you gotta give it a try.

Happy husband breakfast. You can use wheat bread and pretend this is healthy. Ha!

    My grandmother-in-law's recipe

    Recipe #293882

I needed to make something for dinner and thought I'd try brats in the crock pot. They turned out great! All the kids had 2 and wanted more, LOL! I didn't have any beer so I tried pouring apple juice over it all and it turned out just as tasty. You could use beer if you like. No need to fire up the grill. It cooks all day while you're at work and is ready when you get home!

    Recipe #293081

This is another old pioneer recipe which still stands the test of time.

Don't let the sparse ingredient list fool you. This is a recipe that's so easy to make yet so delicious that everyone inhales it. My mother was raised on this soup and she served it often to us. My grown daughters now demand it when they are home. To this day, entering the house on a cold day and smelling this soup is the most comforting, delicious aroma imaginable. It's also non-fat if you use skim milk. (But I like half-and-half, myself!)

    Recipe #74275

This is so simple but so tasty. I found it in a BBQ cookbook but I did it on the stove instead.

    Recipe #267545

My mom learned how to make this from a local of Guadalajara Mexico. It is very simple to make and quite delicious! It's always a big hit when I have guests over. Great for a margherita party! Serve with tortilla chips (try recipe #263512). Out of necessity, I have omitted the tomatoes and it still tastes great. I have also added a few tbsps of fresh chopped cilantro when I have it on hand.

If you love guacamole, this is a must try! So easy and deliciuos. I get rave reviews from our party going friends.

    Recipe #28929

Yet another BBQ sauce I found while going through cookbooks. I want to try recipe with baby back ribs we will be making this weekend.

    Recipe #173039

This is a recipe that our family uses to glaze ham. You can also double the recipe so that you will have plenty to serve as a sauce on the side. It's a must with a holiday ham.
