These blondies are so good. The orange and almond extracts really give them a lovely flavor so I wouldn't leave them out if possible. I get the orange extract from a drug store. I had one that is called orange cream and it is wonderful. I got this recipe from a newspaper.
This is another comforting soup recipe I like to make in the slow cooker. Recipe is adapted from Southern Living. Sometimes I like to add some cooked crispy bacon to the crock pot during the last few minutes.
This apple pie comes together in a snap. Thus, the recipe title. It uses refrigerated pie crust and makes two pies. I bake them one at a time since my oven will only accommodate that. McCormack has a similar recipe, but I changed some things to make it to our liking.
These are great to have while watching football. The preparation time for the onion dip is 15 minutes with a 30-minute cook time. The onion dip makes about 2 cups. You can prepare it ahead of time if you like and serve it at room temperature. The preparation time for the chicken tenders is 15 minutes prep time and 15 minutes cook time. I have combined these times for the preparation and cook time in the recipe. Of course, you can just make the chicken tenders without the dip.
This recipe is now my new very favorite recipe for chicken divan. The sauce is amazing and the almonds give it a nice crunch! It is so easy to prepare, too, but people will think it took you all day! This is from Paula Deen's magazine and it's one of her "Golden Ring" recipes.
